    when testing Oxygen VX1 (single Glint R3 chipset), i saw that the card doesent like "high quality" textures or fast texture loading/movement or trilinear filtering, actually nothing with textures :) .
    I did see a nice speed improvement when using bilinear textures or lower texture quality or both...

      @andrejcenadzija1893 Před 4 lety +2

      Been looking at the results for 3DMark 99 and 2K, you get allmost exact same scores as the single glint R3(i get a bit higher in 3D99, you get higher scores in 3D2K and quake).
      Maybe this card isn`t exactly a multi gpu card(no "SLI") and is more of a multi monitor card(one chip for each monitor) ? .
      I`ve tested on a P3 1Ghz, i815 chipset, 512mb pc133 cl2 ram.

      @djdjukic Před 4 lety

      Merhaba!
      Not the guy who made the video, but I had a computer just like that. It is a very fun combination, but keep in mind that even a heavily overclocked 771 Xeon is somewhat underpowered for a 1050Ti. But yeah, go for a P35, X38, P45, X48 chipset, get low density (usually double sided) 4x4GB DDR3 RAM, and it should be a rather fun system to overclock.
      If you're just going for a cheap gaming rig, a much better choice would be a socket 1156 or 1155 system.
