If we have just the two of us will the gondolier try and put more people in the gondola? If they try are we able to refuse this?
Hi! Great question! If you book a gondola, it's reserved just for you, so they won't put anyone else in your gondola! We hope you have a great trip to Venice! It's amazing!

best tip is stay on the main land as close to the island as you can. walk across the bridge with no luggage and you will enjoy it more. the accommodation is mostly on the 3rd floor with no lifts and lugging luggage will drive you crazy through the narrow streets over the bridges and stairs. TRUST ME! Venice will test your relation ship.
