I actually live local to Vanguard and it wasn't always that bad (also was at a different location before) It was maybe around 2019ish when it started to get like that and only gets worse every time I go in. I recently went to get Superchargers on Wii U and took about a minute to slowly pull it out of the tower jenga style. I think the main reason many of us locals go back is because he gets stuff in all the time and then sells it normally very cheaply. If you are a regular too he sometimes will give you deals or just give you stuff for free. I wish he would stop buying as much especially the junk that he buys. It really is a wonder that he even is able to keep the place open at this point. I recently ordered from you and when I told my sister you were from Wisconsin she told me to recommend Vanguard to you but I said you'd hate the store lol
welp as a Spyro fan I'm now gonna become a Skylanders collector and I definately will search for a Skylanders Spyro's Adventure store display kiosk that works along with the Skylanders Giants Battle Arena display and coliseum display, I'll even look at the Skylanders Mega Bloks sets
I wish I could find the stuff you find because i don’t have a lot of people who sell skylanders do you have any recommendations for someone who’s in Canada
@@thatdragon325 If it helps, we've shipped over 18,000 orders and I can only recall one package actually getting lost. And even if that does happen, don't worry, we got your back. That's what refunds and insurance are for. With that being said, I completely understand if you want to shop locally, but I don't have any recommendations.

@@sclmatt jays cd and hobby in des moines (specifically the one in west des moines), however there is also another chain called video games ect! the ones in cedar rapids are great (found senseis for $3.00!) i was told by the owner of the one in iowa city that they just put all skylanders in the $1.00 bin! we went a couple weeks later and confirmed this, as they had skylanders in the dollar bin!
I was doing some shopping on your website but you have barely any traps in stock I can get life water air and magic but two of them I have because of the starter pack could you grab more in your next video (which are really cool to watch)
Traps tend to sell out rather quickly, so even when we do get a good amount in, we're out of stock soon again. I'd recommend watching for the updates so you can grab the traps as soon as they're up. You can check Matt's community feed here for the update, or follow @scljillian on Twitter.
@sclmatt what exactly do you search on Google? Also damn mad respect to you, that's impressive and good job with scl collectibles it's a very useful site!!!
Matt has had some luck with a chain called McKay's in NC. Otherwise, I'd just do a quick Google search for "Retro video game shops" and see if you have any luck with what pops up.
Zap has been that price for quite some time now. Ultimately pricing comes down to supply and demand. No matter how you look at it, it's still less than original retail.
Slackers and V stock are THE place I get my used Skylanders. So many good memories.

Haha. Yeah, you get it.
That coliseum display is honestly pretty cool, and I’ve genuinely never heard of it before! 😆
It took me a while to discover what it was actually called because the first one I got never had the box.

@@silentstarproductions2469 I know and thanks for helping but I prefer looking locally as I’m nervous of it getting lost in the mail

Just out of curiosity, Do you unpack the car each night you stay at a hotel?
It's very situational. In general, no. But it depends exactly what's in the car, how long I'm staying in the location, and what the weather is like.
@@sclmatt I was just curious. was just thinking!
@@sclmatt Again if you come thru Dallas..let me know..
how do you find places like these, i cant find any 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I search for them on Google. But I also drive 3000 miles across the country. I hit my fair share of duds as well, they’re not all winners.

I really need a copy of trap team for PS4 and a portal. I have both for Xbox but that portal doesn't work on PlayStation
