- Welcome to another video on Tower Simulator 3 - the latest instalment of the popular air traffic control simulators from FeelThere!
Today is my first video playing Update 3 which recently came to Tower! Simulator 3. Admittedly, there's little in the update that affects the way I play - a number of factors are tailored towards players that dive into the finer details much more than I, but you still get to see some of the changes in this video.

Chaz I played this exact scenario the other day and had the same problem with the Long Ship plane. The problem is that there is an extra space in the schedule file between long and ship, so the voice recognition doesn't pick it up. Delete that space and you're GTG.
Hahaha you seemed to be a bit too frustrated in this video Chaz. Still good fun to see you being annoyed and I can very much relate that to my self. To reset your F6 camera press: CTRL+SHIFT+F6
Yeah it gets frustrating sometimes but it's part of the challenge ahaha!
You sounds like me when the speech recognition is working fast enough and starts adding things at the end while im holding the button waiting for it to finish.
Your 2m14s Chapter Heading "Controlling KIAH" is a bit confusing if it's KBOS that you are actually playing.
Try depature 4R and arrivals on 4L
Could you ask them to follow southwest in front for example rather than all cross runway commands love the vids
You can ask them to "follow company" sometimes but it doesn't always work.
If you go back to KATL, try running 26R and 27L for arrivals and 26L and 27R for departures. Still a challenge for me but fun
Saw a message that our favorite "line up and wait behind next landing aircraft" is back with the latest hotfix! BTW - how does one tell their app has the latest hotfixes?
The version should say HOTFIX 3.

How do you change the background colour of the strips in tower simulator 3 nice video
I haven't delved into customising those I'm afraid so I'm unsure. Hopefully someone else here has done it and can explain ✌🏼
How do you tell directions? Like, if I want to tell a plane to point a certain direction (like you can with the new update) - I don't see anywhere on the UI that tells me which way is N,S,E,W.
I think the airport loads in on the ADIRS in its "standard position" so North is accurate to the screen, otherwise try to calculate it from runway headings. Not meaning to sound patronising if you already know, but runways are numbered as such because of what direction planes take off into ☺️ So Runway 27 would be a heading of 270 degrees for example.
Might need to use "AIRCRAFT xyz RUNWAY 22R HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY 22R" to cause it to cross 15R and 15L....?? (Not the best command but it should work)
I think I tried that command at KSFO but can't remember exactly. I'll try it for next time!
If I remember correctly (???), if you specify a point not on the path (eg taxiway Z is elsewhere in the airport), it’ll cross everything too. You use this for the arrival situation.
Do you have any plans on a video for st thomas?
I do not, no. Covered that place multiple times and it isn't the most enthralling.

I will be doing - just got a backlog of stuff to get out because as explained in the video we're getting a new airport every week at present and I can't keep up.
Oh I know. It's a bit too much to be honest.
Only authorise I plane to land and the following aircraft should be announced as the next to land. The second aircraft should only be authorised to land when the first aircraft announces they are clear of the runway. The present setup is unrealistic.
This has been touched on before, and mentioned in my previous videos 👍🏼 I play the game how I play it for simplicity, not realism.

I understand your point, but unfortunately I need to do it to generate the clicks sometimes. Now I'm in this "getting paid for CZcams views" game I've gotta' play to it.
