Rick this is just splendid.
I do wish you could have provided significantly more close up footage. You mentioned part of your reasoning for brush painting the tank because it wasn't much bigger than a 1/35 figure and I agree. But since you did most of your work at 1/35 distances it's hard for me to see how your techniques affected the finish.
Why yes my eyes are old!
You did have some which I appreciate but those were shone in black and white.
Even a tiny kitty can be a king TIger!
Yes. Thanks for watching.
hi rick, thanks for the vid, i came for the model and rocked out with the jams.
Rock on!
I remember, when You build Lancia 3Ro with howitzer, and I wrote to You it will be good to see something in 1/72 scale on Your channel. And now this happen and result is outstanding. Great done, especially with hand brushing camouflage. All the best for You! ;)
Thanks, my friend.
Amazing model build process - the Flyhawk models are really great.
They are!
Ciao Rick! So interesting video with this little scale model! Bravo!
Many thanks!
It’s perfect! Excellent painting
Thank you so much 😀
Very nice paintjob. Thx for show us
Thank you too.
Looks great, definetly a great vid and helpful as i am making an E75 right now!
Great to hear!
Cool as always.
Thank you.
What I like and what I didn’t. Like the new video from Daniel Zamarbide shone recently, applying water on to the surface to be painted prior to acrylic painting is a powerful technique. Martin Kovac use this wet on wet technique for is diorama ground effect. Pushing the boundary to the model itself is absolutely ingenious. Rinaldi should be happy for this innovation 😂. As for brush painting the camouflage, brush strokes and tied marks are to obvious for me, I believe you could have used the airbrush. I know it would have been more work for masking but… hey ! You’re a professional. 😁
Thank you for this video.
If "professional" = "lazy", then yes, I'm professional!!! LOL.
I think hard edge camo looks better brush painted. Masking is only good on big models or models that have very flat surfaces all round. The smaller ones are too frail to mask especially if you use a lot of photo etch. Ive tried masking this model it is a pain in the ass. And free hand spraying doesnt look right because you wont get that hard edge that late king tigers had. Good quality brush paints is the way to go and i think he did a very good job here.
fantasitc work🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! Cheers!
Vespid makes some great 72 scale armor
I've heard this...I need to try.
@@RickLawlerPropaganda yeah the centurion is amazing
yay my favourite scale!!!
I really enjoyed it.
nice winter effect ;-)
Thank you! Cheers!
This looks great, can't believe you have never built a tiger.
Been avoiding them...and still haven't built a Sherman.
Rick, try zinc white. Doesn't chalk up the colors like titanium white does.
Good tip. thanks
please make us a little base for it !
Maybe?
Tiny Tiger!
Indeed.
Why did you burnished the PE screens?
Paint will definitely stick much better on a burnished surface.
to remove the shine, and so I won't need a lot of paint to cover which may fill the fine mesh openings - and what Sylvain mentions below as well.
@@sylvainplante9882 ok thanks.
@@RickLawlerPropaganda I see. thanks Rick.

Thanks, my friend
Flyhawk is still around? I understood they were bankrupt.
Still around - they've just released a couple of new T-34-85 kits in 1/72nd.
They are still here...and this is a really nice kit.
🤝🎥👍
Thanks!
