I believe the reason there's no 'Porsche' turret with this kit is that it would have to have zimmerit on it. Up until I think autumn 1944 King Tigers were built with zimmerit applied, and all the 50 or so early production 'Porsche' turrets would have had it. So that's why they only put that option in the zimmerit kit.
The thing that is behind the engine is the overflow/ top off for the cooling/radiator and engine oil reservoir system. Forget which is which but I think the smaller cap right side is oil and the other is for coolant/water.

With technology, detailing is becoming easier.Quite detailed for a gaming piece, but it would look great when blown up (as a terrain feature) if that is possible with a king tiger.
I think it is a sign of what's coming. I just received some of the Centurions and other stuff, and while they don't have the interiors, they're really nicely detailed like this.
Wow, look at you doing full interiors and... crew figures! Nice to know you're growing as a modeler. Nice build of a very fiddly subject. On a side note I haven't seen any videos of war monuments lately. Did you run out of easily accessible ones or have your health issues prevented you getting out and about? If the latter, please get better soon. Not wanting to be too nosy but I do consider you a long-distance friend and I do worry about my friends.

Nice looking kit. I really think you should try and appease the Paint God. Full interior and exterior paint job with at least the commander figure.
