- I go step by the step the process of using the dj record pool called BPM supreme. I know those that just started using music pools can get a little frustrated on how to use it so I show you basics.

Can you store music on an external hard drive?
Yes you can. Because you are able to download the MP3 file and actually have it on your computer the file can be put on an external hard drive

Some record pools just don't have those. Beatjunkies record pool might have that.
There's a p2p file sharing site called soulseek I believe they could help you on that. I'm not to familiar with it but have heard good things about it
Great well paced video. Does BPM Supreme allow me to see 'new 2020 Hip Hop added today' for example? The pools that Ive seen seem to mix all the old tracks with the new whereas i might only be looking for the latest / most recent tracks..

The tracks? Yes, if you’re asking if it is directly linked to Serato like Tidal and SoundCloud, no.

Would you say it has the same music selection as Spotify and Apple Music or is it more limited?
Doesn't have the same music selection exactly due to some genres or styles that would not resonate for a club or bar environment. There selections are more catered to a djs wishes so you will find alternate versions of songs you hear on pop or rap charts in apple or Spotify
How do you have all those folders associated with Bpm supreme including Bpm Supreme and Scratch tool on your desk top all my stuff is in serato afraid I’m going to lose it all not very techie
On mac by default any downloaded files go to my downloads folder. Once I download the songs I move them to anew folder that I title bpm supreme and then from there I bring that folder in to serato as a crate. Hope that helps.

Just be honest that you want to get music that will work for you. They want deny you if that's the case. The issue record pools have is if you get music from there service and you try to resell it.
Which version of each song would you recommend to download?
I would honestly do clean intro version if I had to pick one.

You can if you use ITunes to organzize your music
if i cancel my subscription after downloading a crate to my computer, i keep the crate and all the songs right? Also are the song files in perfect tidal or spotify quality?
Songs are in 320 bit rate mp3s (good quality) you keep what you download.

You don't need a membership to a pool to do that but what you will need is to download rekordbox if your trying to put mp3s on a USB stick to play on Cdjs if you want to see grids and cue point information. Regardless of that you put music on a flash drive without needing a record pool

The only negative is that you can't use USB sticks like your asking because your phone or tablet won't have the input to plug a stick in. However this positive is they you can import your songs to your tablet and the software will be able to find the folder that you have put your songs into

Check your internet browser settings to see where you download files go. Sometimes people change the default location to somewhere else on there computer

That have some but definitely not a big catalog of it
do you know why my membership request keeps getting declined? when you sign up now there's a questionnaire you have to fill in and asks you for a website which i don't have. I'm thinking this could be the reason but surely you don't need a website to sign up to bpm supreme?
That's correct. You dont necessarily have to. Some friends have put there social media handle or if they had mixes on mixcloud they would put that link. If you still run into problems I would send them a message and let then know what's going. These questions are in place so that individuals won't go to resale the tracks and try to filter out those who would do something to that degree.

How are you DJ Gonz I down loaded a lot of tracks from BPM Supreme and a lot of the are starting to show up with question marks feel like I wasted money please help
If it's questions marks in your software like serato that means you moved it from one folder to another. In serato when you click the files tab hit the relocate lost files button

@@georgemapp2855 no problem. I ran into an issue similar when I would move my music from downloads to another folder on my desktop and forgot to click relocate. I made it a habit to put my music in an area where I wouldn't move it but if I did relocate was usually good about updating the software telling it where it's new position is at and taking the question mark off
BPM has to approve my membership. Is that normal?
They will.Its not a extremely exclusive entry.Many other music services do this.Its really to know who there market is coming from.I had to do that for record pools in the past.

How do you transfer it to serato ?
Once you download the files.You then go to your Files tab in serato.Look for the folder that has those new songs and drag them to your library area to the left in the serato software.

They have a cancel subscription in the account settings area
