      It's hit or miss. Many junior slam champs turn out to be top quality players but a lot of them just end up being top 100 level.

      Definitely Kei, who is a former world no. 4.
      At his 18, he already won an ATP title.
      Even after a few of injuries, he can still back to Top 10, and do the stable performance in the slam.

    I'm a Japanese and the samurai celebration doesn't feel right. Showing off your "sword" after defeating the opponent potentially goes against Bushido (the way of the samurai). Great win nevertheless!

      @@lotus630 In his interview, he said he wanted to be a samurai. If he meant he wanted to be "scummy," it makes perfecet sense. If he meant otherwise, which is probably more common interepretation when the Japanese hear "I want to be a samurai," he probably doesn't understand what he's after. But this could be a good trait for a fighter. And yes, he is a kid ;) Let's see how he goes!

      Yeah like another reply stated, it does matter to a certain extent. Andy Murray is a good example. He was super skinny when he was a teenager, but over the years handful of years he put on more muscle and grew stronger. Of course big muscles is a whole different thing. Totally pointless and probably even detrimental to the player. @@biscuit_eater

    This Japanese boy will not be a great opponent to other players when he plays fully in the ATP tournaments, I think he has a very weak and quite monotonous game. The Czech player will have a good future, he plays with class and a lot of technique, it is obvious because he comes from one of the best schools producing tennis players, the Czech Republic. It's a shame he didn't win this Jr. tournament, but it's known that the current boys and girls who win this tournament don't do very well when they reach WTA and ATP tournaments, or else ask Eugenie Bouchard, who achieved absolutely nothing and is gone with the wind. IMHO!

      I don't think this Czech player will succeed.
      Tennis is monotonous.
      There is no uniqueness in the form.
      Look at the top players.
      Other than
      H. Hurkacz it is quite unique.
      The Czech athlete is ordinary and has no uniqueness.
      It's your jealousy.
