Showing a faster less detailed version of the oil change I did last time.. works on 2013 2014 2015 altimas.. Check out my page if you prefer the more detailed version
One thing I like about this video is it shows the reference as to where things are with the left wheel ! Thanks, but yes it is dangerous without stands. Please buy some before next change.
Well, I am not going to buy a used ALTAMA. One thing I do when buying another car is see how well it is designed for easy maintained items like oil changes. Nissan has failed my test!!! Their location of the oil filter and the fact you have to fuck around taking clips off for panels to get at the OF is BS. You did a great job on the video. Thank you !
You're doing yourself a favor. New Nissan's have bad transmission. Alot people complaining about it going out. Gonna try and sell mine before it goes out
Thanks man and the headlights and fog lights are xenondepot 55watt hid 6500k. Still have them and the run good 4 years later. Never thought HID'S would last that long
@@gabrielgalaxygh Same. I just did an oil change in my 2013 Altima (4 cylinder). It will hold 5 quarts (with filter change) and that takes it up to just about the full level on the dipstick.
@@jeffkeryk3550 yea I didnt have them at the time but I saw some videos on people dying from the Jack falling so I didn't want to end up like them. And thank you for watching
We appreciate you making the video for us, but safety is always the number 1 priority man. Changing your own oil no longer matters if you're dead. You own a $12,000 to $15,000 car but can't afford a $15 pair of 2 ton stands that could save your life?
Kevin Laurendi I boyght some eventually lol. what you don't see is my girlfriend is always with me when I'm doing this, so if anything was to ever happen she could just Jack the car up and I am also skinny like 120pnds so even without the car being jacked up I could probably just wiggle myself in and out if I needed to.
Ginio Lamy yea I feel ya man but money's tight right now, so I use what I go... its a 3-ton Pittsburgh jack though so I definitely have some trust in it

No problem and I finally bought some
Completely agree. Other videos I've watched don't give you any references as to where things are located. Gabrielgalaxygh comes to the rescue.
Thanks for the quick and easy video man! Now I can change the oil for my mom when she needs it. 🙌🏼😃
No problem. Glad it helped man
My moms Altima is what brought me here as well lol
Great help!
Thanks for your time!
Good video. And very helpful I did just like he did. But yea ima do it next time with stands
Thanks brother. That was quik and easy..subscribed👍👍
No problem and thanks
this is a great no nonsense guide. another dudes video said you had to remove the wheel to change the filter! no thanks
mst3kpimp yea that's definitely overkill
It's easier and less messy to just take the wheel off and wheel well cover.
I thumbs'd up! Great vid
Yes, I did give you a thumbs up. Good, quik vid 👍🏽
What type of trim lines and what type of engine does this car have
I did this to my car I even left the lights on and it really works thanks
Yes sir lights on = faster drain
@@gabrielgalaxygh lol
Yea I’m about to do my oil change an it your video I’m watching to do it

What type of trim lines
Nice...thank you!
Is it a good idea to let the car down after you remove the bolt and filter for best oil drainage?
With the drain plug where it is, the optimum drainage is with the vehicle in the front raised position
Nice and short appreciate it man I own nothing but Toyota and Nissan just got me all sorts of complicated lol love the lights what are you using?
Thanks man and the headlights and fog lights are xenondepot 55watt hid 6500k. Still have them and the run good 4 years later. Never thought HID'S would last that long
@@gabrielgalaxygh wow honestly thought they were LEDs, I'm gonna check them out thanks bud
@@christianchavez5098 they are definitely worth it in my opinion. And thanks for watching
Thanks!
Where did you get the turn signal lights from they are changeable when your making a right or left turn right
+Jeromy James yes they blink orange for the blinker. I have a video of them on my page and I also made some custom led taillights for this car
Jeromy James I g9t them off of eBay tho and have a video on how to install
Nice video and another I noticed are the lights where u get them and what’s the name nice
Which lights are you talking about bro? The fogs or the turn signals
How long you had this car?? And do you have power widows
6 years now and yes power windows on all. I dont reccomend any nissans though
Their cvt transmission are terrible and go out so fast
How many quarts after drain in the engine
4 and 7/8 of a quart I believe. I just put the whole 5 though
@@gabrielgalaxygh Same. I just did an oil change in my 2013 Altima (4 cylinder). It will hold 5 quarts (with filter change) and that takes it up to just about the full level on the dipstick.
Easy!🙏👍👍

@@gabrielgalaxygh

You are risking your life with that scissors jack and gato. I have seen a gato collapse.
I bought some Jack stands already
@@gabrielgalaxygh Sorry; I did not see any jack stands in your video. I like the way you do your own service and others can learn from you.

Life has no do overs,,,, No wheel blocks,,, no jack stands,,, It only takes one oh s*** to ruin your day...
Dont listen to anyone under a car supported by only jacks

Leverage bar nobody calls it that and leaving the stick out doesn't make it drain any faster
Ricky spanish no need to be a buzzkill man, hes just showing for people who dont know
How dangerous..using a cheap scissor jack with no jack stands
And somehow I'm alive still
