A sub-2:06 for the men; a sub-2:20 for the women are world-class times. Men's winner literally WALKS across the finish line - seemingly almost not-breaking 2:06. Pretty unusual.

How many meters is the total ascent of the race ?

The E. Africans have now mastered the marathon distance. It is now common for e.african women to break 220 and e.african men to break 206. There is nothing suspicious it is the new normal for E. Africans. The white man is barely breaking 210 and are decades away if ever from realizing such fast times. Same can be said for the white women.
