My mother’s parents were born and raised in Zansville . The cemetery you went by on the left is where my great parents are buried. Pottery and tile were one of the bid industries there many years ago.
I used to go through Zanesville twice a day for 12 years on a dedicated route. I miss running that route.
Beautiful scenery, one of the best videos yet. People living there don't know how lucky they are.
You drove past my house! It is pretty here. Zainsville has a great downtown… you’re more likely to see the Duke boys here than Andy and Barney though.
HI FSC! I saw your truck parked at Mt. COBB ,PA on Monday night and now Wednesday morning napping in the 245 mm rest area in Pa. Never thought I'd see a celebrity twice in 1 week! My husband and I enjoy watching your videos.😊. Keep up the good work .. from one driver to another be safe out there
Seems like a nice area
I spent a lot of time picking up and delivering to Zanesville in the early 2000's when I was at Big G Express. Dropped at the Dollar General Distribution Center and picked up a load of empty bottles going to Jack Daniels in Lynchburg TN.
Zanesville had a big glass and pottery industry back in the day. Known for a “Y” shaped bridge in in city.
Hi Steve thanks for a great country side vidio so green with Orwell up and down hills on ordinary roads A road motorway .b roads smaller roads here in the UK
Two lane 'back roads'. No traffic. Perfect sunny, clear day. Nice views. That is when you love driving. I bet you wished you were on your Haley on those roads that day. Orwell got a good workout with that heavy load but did it with no problem.
Zanesville, Ohio. Was a big area for making pottery.
What pleasant day to haul. I had to cheat and look up what was Zanesville known for because I didn't know either. Have a good 4th!!
Conn's Potato Chip Company, Zanesville's premier potato chip and snack food company uses 50,000 pounds of potatoes per day.
I have logged just over 3 million in cabovers only one had air ride and a set back front axle what a dream ride Kenworth VIT !!!
Zanesville Ohio? Known as the pottery capital of the world.
Every load we transport is a challenging task.. but keeping a cool head is key 🔑 👌 you handled it like a Champ 🏆 💪 👏 👍 Keep rolling And Tradd safe on the Gravel...
What a trip through the American Heartland.
Great video as always - I really enjoyed riding along with you as you do all the work and I get to enjoy the sights and sounds
A little bit of what I found out about Zanesville Oh. - Novelist Zane Grey, a descendant of the Zane family, was born in the city.
After the Civil War, the city grew in size and gained prominence in the State for manufacturing and textiles. The city was also notoriously known for its bootlegging activities in the Prohibition era.
20:37 Nice little town. Be sure to wave at Andy and Barney ! Be safe.
Super les vidéos, il faudrait les trajets de temps en temps.merci
🤘👌👍
Love hearing that cat singing sets in my soul.
I went through there a few years ago with a condo freightliner, I tightened up a little, but plenty room, nice little mom and pop town. Lot of old houses.
I loaded there at Nestle.
Very nice episode, Steve. No drama from wheel holders, keeping you alert for low hanging trees and wires, St. Nicholas Church is a lovely sight. For such a small-ish town, lots of cemeteries. Must have had a large population at one time.
3406 and the Jake's getting a good workout on thus run. Love to hear that Cat run!!
You just came through my town of Zanesville. Yes the construction sucks. Wrecks almost daily.
You don't know how big you are until you go through one of these towns and down a backroad with 90.000. I'll give you a hint about Zanesville and it has alot to do with the canal you crossed because back in the days before any trains or your truck, most of those Ohio towns were served by canal boats which would bring goods and services to the town on their way to the Atlantic Ocean through the canals.
My wife’s cousin lives just north of zanesville in New Philadelphia Oh and her husband does gas line work it’s beautiful out there
That was a great video with some real beautiful scenery.
Stay safe and have a happy 4th of July.
Thanks for the ride, Steve, I enjoyed it! 🤠👍
That is what she said!
That is some nice scenery. Loving the longer videos, Keep'em coming. Stay safe out there!
Great video thanks Steve
I love them old cabovers
Steve, Ron Cole, a friend of mine has an art gallery on mainstreet in Zanesville Ohio. Its mostly filled with aviation art.
Orwell certainly has a good strong motor to get that striker and trailer hauling for sure. I wonder what motor would last longer, running a manual trans or an automatic trans. Nice bit of negotiating on the narrow roads through town dude. Excellent ride along.
An automatic pulling that load will get you killed or broken down quickly. Downshifting a manual transmission saves your brakes, plus the Jakes. An automated manual or a slushbox cannot be downshifted very easily, leading to heavier use on the brakes and under a heavy load, brake failure, or even brake fires. You don't want a brake fire spreading to a load with a 5 ton lithium battery in it, it will burn through the road as well as poison at least a square mile, if not more.
@@jsh6952 Thanks for that. I always thought a manual would be better for an engine as the power could be used to better effect and really working the engine up and down the rev range. I cannot even drive an auto car as I like to be fully engaged with the act to keep focused. Cheers buddy.
Hello Steve, you need to get another lowboy trailer for heavy haul like that fire truck you're hauling it barely fits on your trailer, you need a little bit longer one with triple axle on it,just a suggestion that's all
That RGN has the option to hook up a removable third axle. It has holes in the frame and connections to extend the air lines and electrics for the lights, but Steve doesn't have that company made axle addition. Might need to search elsewhere to see if there's one around. He didn't have the time to deal with it, but now with the help...
You going to buy one for him??? Obviously you don’t know how expensive trailers are …..
There is little need here. If we need 3 axles on the trailer, typically, we need a stretch RGN for the length of the load.
@@fsctruckingsteve if you would've gotten stuck would it be on you or DOT Permitting because they routed you that way.
It would be on him because DOT always wins 😂
Nice American countryside !!! LOL🥸
Love the cabover !!!
i still like when you talk a little bit more then you do now thanks for the videos.
In my backyard lol, i haul fuel to that Marathon off of 70 and jet fuel further south for a crop dusting company
Suppose you are always concerned about dragging the belly and getting high centered stuck. In my 27 years, I bent landing gear on a flat bed. Even empty, I had 4 inches of clearance. A cement pneumatic trailer had 4 inches clearance and drug it's belly breaking a clean out bolt, causing it to leak when pressurized. I came to a narrow cattle guard hauling a D8 with 14 foot blade and sand tracks. Attempting to go around it, I bellied out twisting drive shaft. Stuff happens with low pro 22.5 tires and low profile fifth wheel, sway back flatbed and getting off road with over sized.
Your video in video add was just a good way to do it Thumbs up 👍
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. Your camera placement on top of the Striker facing forward is top notch. Kinda looks like the one on the left side of Orwell is loosing its stability. Image like Orwell's left stack gets tall and skinny then back to normal. Thanks for sharing stay safe Steve.
Used to be known for steel mills.
Cabover, short man's truck. I'm 6ft 8in. Wouldn't work for me. But nice looking truck.
Orwell knows he`s carrying something
Be careful Steve
i like watching.love that truck.from michigan.you been up here.
It’s crazy they take you off the highway and make you drive that big load through those tight little towns.
Tight? That's nothing
Zanesville, named for Ebeneezer Zane an early trailblazer. Also birthplace of Zane Grey, author and descendant of E. Zane.
Wow!!! Big Cemetary.
Thumbs up 👍 like n share people
Orwell aka Optimus Prime 😏
Steve when are you and Tim Gentry going do some videos together and possibly some loads?
Not that heavy compared to a Refuge hauler, but I wouldn't want to do what you do.
some of those street lights looked close lol ;]
Oh yeah, roll that beautiful coal footage.
Good job boy
Any renting truck here
I have truck to sell and renting too, truck here is $30,000 and renting is $12,000 per day

the soud off the cat engin purrs like a kitten
I'm suprised that old junker can haul it to be completely honest...
Hello from maine.... Greatly enjoy the videos...
That’s my home town where you have the pier in the middle
Also known for the Y bridge
@@screamingeagle4525As in "Y" did they make it this way? 😋
Tom’s Ice Cream, Tom wad a family friend , I used to stay at his house when we visited from Cleveland, his son Larry was my age.
@@danielseelye6005 yes back around 1900
Hay I see you in Ohio 7-1 4am truck stop 😴
Hola soy rodrigo de argentina saludos muy buenos los videos
That bad GoPro makes it look like you have one mitre cut stack.
Well you did a lot better than Tim Tim was actually slow down by the Chicago bridge that he didn't almost clear. they sent him on an odd route and that is why he was sent under a very tight bridge it seems.
I also have a picture of that square body of it in Scottdale pa
I'm one hundred percent sure you would have preferred a different detour than that one. Stay safe Steve enjoy the video
Steve how many times since you've owned ORWELL HAVE YOU HAD TO overhaul the 3406 b model cat engine???
Hey Steve the dropdeck trailer is looking good
Any one else notice that electric response fire truck has a diesel exhaust stack coming out of the top?
Hi FSC
Loved the scenery, question the mandatory routing over so many narrow roads.
I was just through there Saturday with a oversized. But they brought me in from the south side of town, then 22 93 to 70...
Sing it Orwell ! 👂
“Oversized Load” - as in what’s on the trailer or in the driver’s seat? ❤ Love you, Steve! 😊
shout out idol,keep safe always
Electric fire truck with an exhaust pipe, must be a desiel generator in ur
Tim Gentry Steve had problems getting his oversized boat load under a Chicago bridge. I believe he would say that he could feel your pain. He could feel your pain after watching this video
Don't forget to LIKE video's you watch ❤❤❤
I know that the buns for Wendy’s are made in Zanesville, Ohio
Steve when you going to let Gentry tune your truck?😂😂 I'm just kidding you keep him in his laptop as far away from Orwell as possible!!! I saw you respond to someone's comment on his live the other night
I need longevity in Orwell. Rooster is nice, but I have no need for that kind of power and the inevitable destruction from it
Lol I agree with you 100% just busting your chops. Got to keep those wheels turning. Bruce Wilson just called out Tim Gentry to bring rooster in and put it on his Dyno at the end of his last video. I wonder if Tim will show up. After he fixes rooster that is.. of course it's down again
That must have been a hell of an issue out there on the interstate for them to run you through all that back country and all those towns. Gorgeous farms and rural scenery, and picture post card towns, but what on earth could have been so bad on the interstate that every other vehicle on the highway could still use it, but not you?
Like the other guy said only know Zanesville for Nestle 😉 47:03
they should have given you a police escort through the town
If that striker is electric then why does it clearly show a big fat exhaust stack at the back ? So it obviously a hybrid not 100% electric
why does it look like there is more smoke coming out of the stack on the driver side
I hate it when that happens when I can't find out how height is the bridges. I had a 1985 Chevy Squarebody Crew Cab that I had for a very very long time. Until someone decided that driving drunk was cool. Plowed in the back passenger side door and bed. The impact knocked the whole bed off the truck. One thing I hate about wide load's is going through towns like that small. And having difficulty turning. Jessie she will hop out and help me back up if I can't turn. There's been times I had to tell (Karen's) to back up. I scared one (Karen) so bad she floor's it backing up so fast into a police SUV patrol vehicle. I was like hell yeah. That cop was like 😁😁😁 and he confronted that lady. Have a good Independence Day Steve and Jen and Matt and Sean.
They have Ralston Purina in Zanesville. I dont know how big it is. My cousin loads there a lot.
What is the exhaust pipe for on a electric vehicle?
Hey your strobe light on your trailer is not working let you know
Steve what's the rate horsepower for Orwell?
Wow I am surprised that bridge didnt have a height listed, its supposed to
Pottery capitol of the world
What kinda gps do you use on your phone sir
Super early comment ❤
Good evening brother wow tight fit
