I don't think Phaedra is wrong about her not going to the courts . I do have an issue with the kids though . In my opinion the only reason why he wants a divorce is so he can ask for spousal support, it's sad that he has gotten so addicted to money and now that he is going to jail his last resort for fast money is to divorce his wife and claim spousal support. One parent should never deny the other the opportunity to see their children, but Apollo put them in this situation.

Apollo, in his own (unsophisticated) way was trying to set up a plan of action for when he was incarcerated. He was trying to deal with the house, his stuff, his children. This is after Phaedra disappeared from the picture (no phone call after his sentencing and she abandoned their home) without any explanation. All Phaedra cared about was the "public shame" & paparazzi. She didn't reach out to Apollo to see how they would deal with the situation (assets etc.) Unfortunately, they BOTH did not see the bigger picture and began picking at each other; tit for tat. At the end of the day, they both failed to communicate with each other as adults.

It was a good 1st episode. Nene and that tagline that she us a mogul was hilarious. But I do like the fact that Cynthia is standing on her own. I agree with Phaedra and what she said about Apollo. I cracking up at Apollo when he had his entitled white man moment. There marriage had cracks in them along time ago. Divorce was coming for them even before his sentencing. I think with him going to jail this was Phaedra's way out.
My youngest nephew's father was a jailbird. My sister met him 3 months after he was released after being in jail for 15 years (drug possession). She became pregnant with my nephew, had him. When my nephew was 1 years old, he did the SAME crime, went back to jail for 14 years, now my nephew is 16. My sister visited him while he was in jail, but not with my nephew, her son. Let me just say this: I truly don't like Phaedra; however, I don't blame her for how she feels. The moral to the story is: just be careful who you procreate with, period. Apollo is VERY selfish, and a LIAR!! I feel so sorry for those precious babies, and at the end of the day, it's those babies lives that are affected.

I think maybe alot of Apollos anger with Pheadra could be because she knew what he was doing and chose not to stand by him when he got caught. I don't think Phaedra is wrong about her not going to the courts . I do have an issue with the kids though . She could have got her mother or someone close to the family to be at home when Apollo got back from the sentencing.
I never thought Apollo & Her would have lasted because of how they got married. It was because of possible public view of someone having a baby out of wedlock . She was pregnant eventhough she forever lied about how many months or whatever before the wedding .

Oh girl I was just reading some of the comments, a lot of the comments are coming off being all attitude and wanting to look for an argument. These darn comments should get a reality show. This is just terrible. I will be watching your reviews which I do enjoy. But the commenters need to realize this is just on opinions and if they don't like your review they can change the dam channel, because you say what you wanna say. I can see from the comments also that you may have to get some of these people together verbally and they're gonna be alright. Loved your review girl, you kept it 100 as usual. I don't feel like Apollo regrets anything but getting caught, again. In my opinion the only reason why he wants a divorce is so he can ask for spousal support, it's sad that he has gotten so addicted to money and now that he is going to jail his last resort for fast money is to divorce his wife and claim spousal support. One parent should never deny the other the opportunity to see their children, but Apollo put them in this situation.

I thought the episode was lowkey sad and depressing. Apollo really pissed me off, like you mean to tell me that you do the exact same thing that landed you in prison and want sympathy? They lowkey painted Phaedra as the one in the wrong and IO wasn't here for it. The episode even had my mom saying that Phaedra should have been by her husband's side. Now I don't think Phaedra is 100% innocent, but she has every right to feel the way she does.

Love your review. I agree with the person who said Cynthia should be a friend of the show. I believe they kept her so Kenya had a familiar face to film with her. Claudia was added to justify Kenya's peach. I agree with Phaedra's decision to abandon Apollo. He didn't think about the family when he was free and now he'll have time to reflect. Funny how Apollo thinks Phaedra has no legal right to move on but thought it was ok to do what he did to those retirees and his family. I also believe that Apollo would tell everyone now if Phaedra was involved since he is furious with her and has nothing more to lose.

Phaedra checked out when they were back in Mexico and he treated her like a doormat. I think she knew about his criminal activity but didn't want to implicate herself.
Kevin said the same thing about there being deeper issues between Phaedra and Apollo. I can understand why she didn't go to the sentencing she chose to be a supportive parent instead of a supportive spouse.

Apollo, in his own (unsophisticated) way was trying to set up a plan of action for when he was incarcerated. He was trying to deal with the house, his stuff, his children. This is after Phaedra disappeared from the picture (no phone call after his sentencing and she abandoned their home) without any explanation. All Phaedra cared about was the "public shame" & paparazzi. She didn't reach out to Apollo to see how they would deal with the situation (assets etc.) Unfortunately, they BOTH did not see the bigger picture and began picking at each other; tit for tat. At the end of the day, they both failed to communicate with each other as adults.

When did Nene ever dissed Cynthia on TV? She spoke the truth about Peter, he is a bitch. And girls are faster than boys and left holding the baby. Nene wasn't saying Cynthia's daughter is fast, but let's be honest her daughter is fast. Her daughter was in the 8th grade with a full blown boyfriend. I loved Nene, Kandi and Porsha scenes. Phadrea should not filmed with Apollo because his mouth is reckless and will get her in trouble. Why is he saying he helped her with the house and he doesn't have access to the money. It was a good 1st episode. Nene and that tagline that she us a mogul was hilarious. But I do like the fact that Cynthia is standing on her own. I agree with Phaedra and what she said about Apollo. I cracking up at Apollo when he had his entitled white man moment. There marriage had cracks in them along time ago. Divorce was coming for them even before his sentencing. I think with him going to jail this was Phaedra's way out.
My youngest nephew's father was a jailbird. My sister met him 3 months after he was released after being in jail for 15 years (drug possession). She became pregnant with my nephew, had him. When my nephew was 1 years old, he did the SAME crime, went back to jail for 14 years, now my nephew is 16. My sister visited him while he was in jail, but not with my nephew, her son. Let me just say this: I truly don't like Phaedra; however, I don't blame her for how she feels. The moral to the story is: just be careful who you procreate with, period. Apollo is VERY selfish, and a LIAR!! I feel so sorry for those precious babies, and at the end of the day, it's those babies lives that are affected.

IMO Phaedra has every right to act exactly how she is... It's a stressful situation for her to raise two young boys with an incarcerated father! Unless this is what you're used to who in they right mind would be cool with the crap he's pulled. Plus regardless of what type of lawyer she is, why would she want to stand by/support a man who is guilty and going to jail for the same stupid crime.

Khandi certainly has more but, Nene has done very well for herself too with her clothing line, production company and marketing herself in general. But, we have to remember that Nene is country and she's going through her "new money" phase. I agree with Ashley, Phaedra just feels like she was at her wits end...this "Ride or Die" stuff is good in movies and concerts but in real life this shit has it's limits. You support and stand on the side of the old peoples who's pensions were stolen, the people who's identity was taken and used, the people who's credit cards were stolen and used. Apollo's actions and absents will leave permanent scars on his sons. Just like the scars his mother and father has left on him. As a father he should have wanted better.
He had the perfect venue to start and promote a legal business which takes time to grow. Apollo was not willing to do the work, take the time nor be a good parent (you can't parent from jail) and role model for his sons.
