Her swings from last week traveling all over the world to this week crying with Brandon and unable to carry on. Then a song about really bitch to saying she never thinks about Porsha. Great recap Ashley! I feel like you: as a Kenya fan, she shouldn't have used that bullhorn and that damn scepter to penetrate Porsha's personal space. She has to admit she was wrong and take responsibility for her actions. She got her apology from Apollo, and rightfully so, but she played a part in that whole thing playing out too. She said Apollo was sending her texts as an implication that they were having some kind of affair, she throws the fact that Apollo wants her in Phaedra's face every time she gets, so she's no angel. If she would be just be honest about her shit, I think people would like her more.
Nene's hustle is very impressive! But outside of her aspirational tendencies, I still find her pompous and annoying, and will stab a person who's not her boss in the back if they're not putting her on a pedestal. Everyone's harping on Cynthia and Kenya becoming closer, but it looks a lot fishier to me that suddenly Nene has publicly declared herself a "ROCK" for Phaedra, when she has incessantly put her down, denied her & mocked her in any forum that would hear it for the last 3 years.
Sorry, but I don't see Cynthia as weak or jumping into Kenya's lap. I think for the most part, Cynthia has carried herself on this show with class, particularly because she came onto this show with a professional life in a business that is contingent on how she carries herself publicly: she pays her bills as a highly respected working model, and has funded her business that way. I don't care if she's modeling mother's day dresses at this age, it's still fantastic money, and clients are not going to book girls whose public reputations proceed them as "unsavory" and are a potential tarnish to their brand. Her holding her tongue on television has only made her appear more graceful to the entities that really matter----those comptrollers signing checks. So to a degree, I understand her public restraint for all these years. But then, Nene finally crossed the line. She insulted Bailey's child and husband on national television, then publicly went into television interviews to plant seeds that she should be fired. Like really, we were friends and now you are intentionally going on a public smear campaign to take food outta my mouth???? On top of the public implications you made about my child (kee-keeing at a table full of grown ass women that 13 year olds today drop it like it's hot, when it's your own son out shoplifting and dropping bastard babies). That was FOUL. So the relationship between them is over. Conversely, Kenya had one falling out with Cynthia for acting a fool at her JET casting. But she also apologized, & they have appeared to be been fine since then, even continuing to work on Bailey Agency projects together because of their mutual background in modeling. To me, them furthering a friendship makes more sense than any of the others : I don't see any flip flopping there. Nene betrayed Cynthia, it's over now, & she got a chance to grow a friendship with someone wasn't fighting with and has more in common with anyway.
Apollo.....I knew he was lying. I wanted to smack him when his apology was " IF I MADE YOU FEEL LESS THAN A WOMAN..." Still planting seeds while giving her a half-assed apology, SMH. Her swings from last week traveling all over the world to this week crying with Brandon and unable to carry on. Then a song about really bitch to saying she never thinks about Porsha. The I'm smart Porsha's dumb theme cannot possibly last another season. She feels vindicated that a scheming idiot fooled people and came clean when she had ample opportunity to set the record straight? Nene helped shield Cynthia's mean girl personality for years. If she doesn't stop checking people she'll catch the Kenya Syndrome since pettiness is contagious.
