Choosing the right video editor can have a big impact on the outcome of your projects in terms of speed and ease of use. But what about the look of your film? What about getting the big budget film look that sets your films apart?
Studies show there is only 27 seconds to make that first impression and while all system can produce virtually the same edit it's the look and color grading of your work that sets films apart and gets client work.
That is why we created a Final Cut Pro X tutorial for 2019 that shows you how to do color grading so you can feel less frustrated with the way your film looks e.g. muddy looking images, shots that don't match and skin tones that look atrocious and start feeling confident with the tools and the processes for making exceptional looking images EVEN if you're just a beginner..
Let color grading be that final magic polish that gets you the look that you envisioned when you set out to create something that you can feel proud of.
If you're a content creator who's looking for a professional look but don't want to master the built-in tools there's an alternative plugin that gets a high-end finish look with on screen color grading, the industries easiest shot-to-shot matching and realtime previews of LUTs!

Cinema Grade is all use need in Fcpx if you're starting out. Or don't have time to create that certain look. If you want to use Cinema Grade in Davinci Resolve. ONLY Purchase the $69 Basic.
The $99 Pro version Do Not Work in Resolve 16.1. But the $69 package is not bad at all in Davinci Resolve. I own both the Pro package for Fcpx & the $69 Basic for Davinci Resolve. Cinema Grade is still the best Plugin you can use in Fcpx or DR 16.1 for Color Grading.

I am generating a video for my mother-in-law's funeral. This project is for my wife and I only filmed the funeral for her. She asked me to share the video with her entire family (approximately 50 people) and my initial though was ........ 'Please be joking'. This video will most likely be kept in a family archive by the great great great grandchildren for decades to come. Therefore, I must create a video worthy of not only the entire family but also for future generations. No pressure!
I am here to thank you for your teaching videos. You not only have great expertise but have an aptitude for teaching. You make it easy and simple. Many thank yous are in order. Please keep up the awesome work.
