In regards to Einstok, I can say as a former beer distributor guy when it comes to beer, especially imports they have two main things going against them. Time and light (also in some situations heat), bottled imports have both of these problems since bottled in a place like Iceland then the time it takes to bring it to their final destination is a lot longer than let's say Coors who has their main brewery in Colorado. Also, the time a beer like Einstok sits on the shelf in Alabama is probably longer than recommended, bottled beer as a general rule is good for 6 months stored in a dark cold place like a refrigerator or 3 months in a warm setting with more light. But store coolers are usually cold but not dark, most are really bright, and that's where light comes into play. Beer is extremely sensitive to light. Hop compounds are photosensitive and, when exposed to light, will be “light struck”. This is what causes the skunky off-flavor. Einstok and a lot of imported 6-pack bottles have packaging that comes up very high almost to the cap trying to eliminate as much light as possible, but it can never cut out all the light. As for cans they completely eliminate light exposure problems and can taste fresher for longer period of time. Thanks for coming to my Ted Beer Talk.

If you’ve had one and drink a lager or Pilsner right after, they all taste like water. Still, I wouldn’t call most of these craft beers anyway. Regarding the Monk beers I agree, as the specific gravity goes up it's really hard to brew a drinkable enjoyable beer. Anything that says barley wine should be avoided. As you said the important thing is how a beer tastes. That, and how enjoyable the drinking experience is. For example west coast IPA's ....expensive yes, craft probably, drinkable....only if your preferred beer is a pound of hops straight out of the blender.

Same with the Guinness widget cans, or any widget can basically. You waited far far far too long from opening to pouring....Pour it so your pouring it onto the edge of the glass as if you were holding the nozzle against the edge of the glass when using a cask. Glass at 45 Degrees, can opening edge touching glass. The sooner you pour, the creamier the head and the flavour. Boddingtons is essentially what we call a bitter in the North of England. "Hand Pulled", is not like a draft beer. Draft beer from the tap, has CO2 infused into it.
    Hand pulled is different.
British pubs stored their kegs of beer in the cellar, below the service bar. The cellars in England were usually around 52degrees, so their beers were crafted over the years to be the best tasting at that temperature. Americans call it warm beer.
Anyways, to pull this beer up from the cellar keg, they had a literal "pump", that the bar tender would pump, with a throw of about 15 inches or so. As it was pumped, the raw beer would thus be infused with air, as opposed to CO2. Usually a glass would need a couple of pumps to fill the glass. It is really old school beer, the way it was brewed for centuries.
I have been in micro breweries in CA that had hand pulled beers, and the carbonation is much finer than the CO2.
Of course, you can't store beer with air in it, it will oxidized and turn to shit.

If a 15 year old could drink beer, this is what I would imagine they would act like tasting beer. I get it is supposed to be funny, or so I'm guessing at this point. It's just sad to see that you send a poor message about beer. Beer is something special. Takes time to learn about beer and appreciate it for what it is. Sometimes you meet a person who thinks anything that is not like normal life they live or are used to means that everything else is not good or spoiled in some kind of way. I hope you did not badly influence too many people in the process of making this video.

The two primary styles of barley wine are the American, which tends to be hoppier and more bitter, with colours ranging from amber to light brown[6] and the English style, which tends to be less bitter and may have little hop flavour, with more variety in colour ranging from red-gold to opaque black.[7][8] Until the introduction of an amber-coloured barley wine under the name Gold Label by the Sheffield brewery Tennant's in 1951[9] (later brewed by Whitbread), British barley wines were always dark in colour. barrel beer. Lomza a Polish beer is pretty good out off about 12 different brands they have. Can't go wrong with any British Isle beer and Ale !
