The battle of the 2 mid table teams Chelsea vs Manchester United was a far more interesting game between Manchester City and Arsenal and obviously when both teams are competing for a title there’s no room for error. The Manchester United and Chelsea game was a reflection on where both teams are at right now, because Chelsea were 2 goals up only for United to draw level at half time and after being up 3-2 conceded 2 late goals including a penalty in stoppage time. I don’t know if that was great football or terrible defending from both teams.

I blame these players because theres only so much you can do to coach players. You have 5 players pointing at Cole Palmer and no one steps up thats NOT THE COACHES FAULT

This is the issue with a lot of United fans and other people trying to poke fun at United. 1 they aren't a big club in terms of winning and trophies as of late. 2 united is a mid-table club that is working the kinks out of the team. 3 I'd rather keep him at the club for a couple more seasons and let him rebuild. You have to realize that Arsenal was in the same place as United two seasons ago. It takes time for a club to get back on top. These are also the same players that doesn't want to do anything. If united goes back to 5 or 6 next season united should sack him. Right now its better to keep the same coach and see where united goes next.

That end of the game play was hectic and palmer probably doesnt always go short like that on corners so probably hard to prepare for situations like that, I’d say one of the players should of decided to step out to him to stop that. But I agree that over a season to be consistently off it has to come from the manager and the way they play. There still is no clear identity of utd how they play so its not like the players are even following anything and executing a style badly, they just vibe out it seems like. there are some things that are coaching problems but there are somethings that are player problems, like the 4th goal, coaching is a problem and they should not have set up like that, BUT AT THE SAME TIME(this just going based off my experience not actual trained professionals who are million times better than me), if I see someone that open in a set piece, imma walk up to them, like setting up like that is crazy but at the 100th minute and no one saw palmer, like that can't all be on ten hag

As someone who doesn’t care for either teams and is simply just a goalkeeper so I feel like I understand the position better than most. It is a shot a goalkeeper at his level should make. That said, you made it sound like that was an easy shot to save. Its not. His vision was unstructured for most of that shot. He was only able to see that shot once that shot passed his teammate, in which he then has to react instantaneously to the shot. Which he did. Where he went wrong was the simple fact he didn’t get his hand down to where the shot was exactly in that very short amount of time that he had to react. Garnacho second goal was more of a mistake from either goalkeeper in this game, and no one is talking about that. He should come out to force a shot and not allow Garnacho time on the ball, but coming out to literally be touching distance from each other is so idiotic. Being that close allows a header like that go in. If he was 5 even 3 steps back he forces a shot straight at him or Garnacho misses the target.
It hurts to say but you’d think they’d learn from Barcelona vs Liverpool . BARCELONA with Messi got punished for this exact reason.
