People are complaining about how easy this game is, but once you actually make your battles on set mode and ban yourself from using healing items, it gets quite challenging. The elite 4 was harder imo than the original games.

This is a very easy game with the biggest difficulty with the elite 4. Good AI, Viable moves, Proper abilites, Held items and EVs on every pokemon like they aren't playing around... I love it

It now occurs to me that the original Cynthia was being kind to us on the original games. Had she gone at us with power, we wouldn't have the will or motivation to play the next Pokemon games.
Got all the way to the end and Cynthia kicked my arse again without a shred of remorse. Between the diverse move pool, frustratingly irksome items that hamper the health of your team and Flint's Driflblim ( a pokemon I don't remember him having last time) it really brought back the nostalgia I loved when playing this the first time around and that's why I think this remake has been an excellent addition.
Flint definitely had a Drifblim in the original DP. It may have been that most people are so used to playing Platinum that we forget the DP original issues such as the fact that Flint has only 2 fire types in his team despite being a Fire type specialist

Biggest complaint for me is how boring all of their arenas are. Gen 3/5 had such interesting Elite Four rooms. Wish they would retroactively improve Gen 4
I really don’t like the sci-fi aesthetic on the interior especially when the outside is literally a cathedral. These rooms feel like engine room in a spaceship without the engine, not a place where you will fight the top ranked Pokémon trainers… Great Vid btw! Thank you for releasing this early!

My Bronzong ended up being the unsung hero against Cynthia’s Garchomp. It only has two offensive moves, Earthquake and Dragon Rush. Between Levitate and spamming Iron Defense, Bronzong ended up able to hold its own.
There was no point of raising levels when the game's opponents are built on actual strategy. Sorry. I think I'm just getting pissed by how much people defend it, but how does higher level even equate to actual difficulty?
As I said before... They were very faithful to the original games, I really expected the Platinum rooms, and their Platinum teams although I liked seeing my favorite E4 in 3D but I think it could have been better... for me, it is just a copy and paste of the original games, with some details to increase nostalgia, such as the Pokémon that follow you, I hope legends arecus not disappoint me...

I've been fighting flint for over an hour and still haven't beat him. Ok he finally ran out of one of his moves and I finally beat Brent after using all my moves on luxury and infernape and palkia
No shit, I thought they would like nerf the elite 4 + champion difficulty similar to Lets Go but not shit, they went all in, this has to be the pokemon game with the highest difficulty spike out of any yet.

Yeah I kinda like the idea of gym leaders/Elite 4 members having at least one member not be the gym leader’s specialist type. It makes it more funnier by not sweeping the entire team. Although It is bizarre that Candice has a medicham, Volkner has a Ambipom and Octillery, and Flint has a Steelix, Driflbim, and Lopunny and it is understandably disliked by many, IMO I think it is very unique and fun.
You could have easily used Crunch against Mr. Mime, yet you switch to Quagsire, which had _nothing_ useful? Your battling style is way too random for my tastes.
Well try to use a dark type with some moves like crunch or dark pulse for every pokemon, but NOT honchkrow cause girafarig would destroy you.. And for Bronzong and mr. Mime use a ghost type wich has a high attack to not let mr. Mime to set up screens, and not to let him use trick room, or Bronzong would kill you (i used houndoom and mismagius)
