The Ultimate Day Trip to MILFORD SOUND | NZ ROAD TRIP #04 🇳🇿

In the final video of the New Zealand road trip, we make our way down to Milford Sound in the Fiordland region of the South Island. This was a place that we had anticipated for a long time and we weren't ready for the sheer scale and beauty of the area.
Join us as we kayak around Milford Sound and see the breathtaking scenery up close and personal. Along the way, we are joined by our Kiwi guide Lewis and his magnificent mullet. This place really has to be seen to be believed and I hope the video does it justice.
Kayaking at Milford Sound isn't the only option as you can also take a cruise or even take a scenic flight! We were happy with our decision though and if you're after doing something a bit different, kayaking at Milford Sound is the one for you.
After Milford Sound, we made our way to the beginning of the Lake Marian hike. This hike took several hours to complete but the pay off of the view at the end was worth it. If you're looking for things to do at Milford Sound, I'd recommend this one. After all, it was my favourite hike in New Zealand!
We did look for some Kea parrots but unfortunately we didn't see any. With that brings an end to the New Zealand road trip. I hope you enjoyed watching the series and have fallen for New Zealand as much as I have. It was a lot of fun making these videos and I hope you got something genuine out of them.
