The reason I can’t appreciate Alonso’s talent is because of his shit attitude. When everything goes well he’s the happiest chap there is, but if the has a strong competitor or the team needs his help he’ll do this kind of stuff.
This cost Alonso the championship. He probably would have finished second to Hamilton in this race at worst and got 8 points rather than the 5 he got for finishing 4th. That must keep him awake at night. Have to admire his ruthlessness though and his mental strength that year to stay focused after his relationship with McLaren broke down
This is why Alonso is stuck at 2 champs. Petulant, controlled by his emotions and distracted by his need for revenge. He has to be held accountable for his failures.
The block against Kimi shouldn't have happened. But the block on Lewis is understandable considering Lewis failed to let Fernando past when he was specifically ordered to so that Fernando can burn off as much fuel as possible like Lewis had done initially. Not to mention the team screwing Fernando over also by putting on used tyres rather than new ones like they did for Lewis.
I thing he gets undeserving hate for that, lewis didnt obey team orders and so fernando with this action got his revenge,it was wrong but it had a reason atleast
Everyone always talks about alonso blocking Hamilton in the pits but conveniently forgets how Hamilton disobeyed team orders to not let alonso go in front of him even though I ain’t really a fan of Kimi he definitely deserved the title in 2007 through McLaren’s bullshit lol
Here's the thing I can understand the retaliation from Alonso with the pit lane block. I still think this was childish but after the way he blocked kimi on his earlier lap I'm glad Hamilton disobeyed him. He deserved it
Is the radio correspondence between Alonso and his race engineer a matter of record? Did Alonso's engineer genuinely count him down too late, or was the entire excuse fabricated.
Then Alonso fell out with the team, tried to blackmail them and when that didn't work sent those leaked Ferrari documents into the Bernie and the FIA. Although any theft should have promptly been dealt with, the reasons they were made public was wrong.
Loved this from Alonso. At the end of the day, this team did not deserve sh*t that year. Glad Kimi could take it. You should be grateful Alonso, Hamilton and McLaren gave Kimi the historic relevance he has up to datr Ciaron!
Not at all! Kimi had 2 mechanical DNFs that season, while Alonso/Hamilton had none. Kimi won 6 races, everyone else only won 4. Ceteris Paribus Kimi would have won the title by China! Not to mention Kimi already deserved 2003 and 2005 (which Alonso fluked into). Alonso should be thanking Kimi if anything!
Kimi lost 6 wins in 2005. Alonso was handed the win in the majority of those. That's called luck when you don't deserve to win a race, but you still get the win. Mentally ill? Let's talk about Alonso in 2007. We saw his 'health'.@@matz1974

Beautiful cherry red livery on the Ferrari.
Ah, those were fun times to watch those cars.
I do have to say Kimi Raikkonen would won 80% of the races in 2005 had the Mclaren car not keep breaking down Raikkonen in 2005 was unstoppable.
The live reaction by the commentators is quite weird, as if they know that wasn't cool but felt the need to brush it off.
Did Alonso break the rules? It’s the sort of tactics I love & sadly we’ll never get back

Totally out of control, selfish and destructive behavior.
This qualifying session changed everything.
He was at his worst.
That's how dirty Alonso is

I’m just amazed how short Kimi’s corner is. For reasons we shall not discuss here, he never looked like that towards the end of his career.

To think this likely cost him the WDC
Well Kimi had 2 DNFs prior to this.
All reliability ceteris paribus, Raikkonen would have won the title by China.

Total lie by him.
1:30 what the hell is this fool doing? Thank god kimi won the title that year
Also what on earth was that about 2:14? That shouldnt be allowed
Ridiculous penalty knowing the context how can Ron Dennis let his driver get a penalty for that when he get a front row lock out
The penalty was obviously deserved. He intentionally blocked under driver.
And to think the cheeky bastard went faster😊
whose the second commentator? not James Allen
Damon Hill and James Allen. Martin always went on holiday for Hungary in the old days.
To be fair to Alonso, Hamilton disobeyed team orders but Alonso reacted badly. Hes always had temper issues.

Alonso blocks 🚫 everyone 😅
Lewis won Hungarian GP 2007, so they were even

He ended up 1 point away from what could have been the most undeserving and unpopular World Championship win ever.
