I did a summary of 24 questions w answers that I prepared for my interview. It helped me land the job as a new grad in the ICU. I start my job in two weeks! Thank you for this video. It helped me tremendously while preparing.
ICU Murse hi, would you mind sharing a few of those questions? I’m applying for the same position!

@@TheICUMurse how was life as a new grad in the ICU?
My interview for the ICU is today 😩 I'm so nervous
I just want to thank you so so much! I have wanted to be a l&d nurse for years and have tried without success right after school. Worked in step down for a little less than a year before taking off to have my babies and 3 years later I’ve been trying to get back into nursing applying to LDRs around me but it’s so competitive and Being basically a new grad felt impossible. Shockingly, I got an interview and watched your videos to prepare. The next day I FINALLY got a job offer in L&D. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I feel like my dreams are coming true. ❤️
Samantha Olcott omg congratulations!! Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I am touched. I am sure you will make a phenomenal l&d nurse. Enjoy it and best wishes on your transition to the best specialty!
Yayyy
Did you get the job?
Sis dropping gems, three years later!!! I have a interview for mother/baby unit on Thursday. Thank you!! 🤞🏽❤️💎
Did you get the job?? 🙂
Super clean and focused presentation. Short, sweet, and useful!

I have my very first nursing panel interview today and have been studying this video to prepare. I'm still nervous, but thank you for sharing your tips!
Thank you for sharing this amazing video. I'm a recent graduate nurse and I will have my first interview soon, this video has helped a lot. Thank you.
I am so disappointed, just had an interview, if you could call it that with a NICU nurse manager and some other staff, and what a joke! I could tell right from the start they really weren't interested in me as a candidate! They asked.a couple of questions which I did the best I could to answer reign nervous... I saw them looking at each other and chuckling intermittently and trying to hide it (this was a zoom interview).. They weren't in the least bit prepared, it was like a big joke to them. What a waste of 15 minutes I will never get back again... The interview gave me a solid glimpse into their work culture and why they currently have TEN OPENINGS in their level IV NICU!!! Thank you for the video!
Thank you so much! I'm now a lot more positive that I can eventually get a job if I try very hard to prepare my interview.
Getting ready for my first undergrad interview and this helped tremendously! Thank you
Excellent, you have a gift for being concise and clear. So grateful for this, thank you.

Thank you for your video! I have had previous trainings on how to conduct proper interviews but was feeling a little rusty and wanted to be as sharp as possible as I plan on changing units, and this helped me a lot! It helped me by getting in the right mindset, having really good prepared answers, and having CONFIDENCE that I could do it. I am currently going through the interview process now and it has already helped me get through the first interview :)

Great advice...thanks for the video
Wow, these are really useful tips. Thanks so much girl!
you're very welcome :)
i feel like it is so hard when you're a new nurse :(
it is. but you can do it!
That is so true, have faith that it will get easier and that all nurses go through this. Also realize that part of being a nurse is constantly learning new things and how policy/procedures work at the facility you work for. Be of luck to you.
The first year in real life nursing is MISERABLE. Studies say a new nurse doesnt start to feel competent until about 6 months to a year. You are not considered a master until 5 years. The first year you're new to people, supplies, techniques, and the speed. You're literally thrown to wolves even with orientation because in most hospitals you are expected to get it down pack after orientation which is only a couple months. But ALWAYS ask questions, dont be afriad to switch another perceptor if you are not comfortable, dont over complain because the manager will see this as you're not cut out for this (I was almost fired for complaining too much on my first job). Get to work on time, get a notebook a small one and write down key things to remember like code numbers, or passwords or how to access a certain folder in an EMR. Keep it with you until you dont really need it anymore. That little notebook is your reference to how to do things in case you dont remember.
Your video was super helpful, thank you so much!
You're so welcome!
Wowwwwwwwwwwww this is incredible thanks alot dear
Very informative.. thank you soooo much.
This video helped me the most and I ended up getting the job!!
woohoo!!!
Thank you!!
Thank you this was very helpful. Pray for me, interview tomorrow!
i hope it went well!
How would you answer a question addressing your weaknesses? Thank you
thank you !
very helpful. Thanks
This was extremely helpful. I graduate in December and aspire to be a L&D nurse at the hospital where I had my daughter. I also intend on going back to school, however I'm not sure if I should go the nurse midwife or NP route. I'll be binge watching your videos, as I noticed you're in school to be a FNP 😊
Mishca Stern awesome ☺️ I’m glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for these tips and how to prepare for these interview! It really helps calm the nerves a little bit 😅😅
I do have a question: I'm really passionate about women's health and aim to become an OB/L&D nurse, but seeing that I'm a new graduate nurse, I don't have that much experience in the nursing field other than the ones obtained from clinicals.
Is it possible for me to purse this specialty even though I don't have that much experience? Several nurses have recommended to go into one of the general fields such as Med-Surg and ED, but I just can't see myself in those fields 😓.
Lols, nvm! I just saw your video answering these questions!
It’s linked in the description box ☺️
I'm a new grad transitioning from a CMA into a nursing role. Do you have any tips for interviewing and or starting a new role?
Great video! But I think the behavioral questions are the worst. People tell made up stories to make themselves sound good (who would ever say anything bad?).
Thank you🤗
I have an interview this week for a Nurse Tech position and want to know what to say when being asked what my weakness is
Thank you
Have a mock interview for leadership class and this helped a lot!
Great.
speaking about the tell me about a time question I was asked to tell about a time I broke the rules and what I did about it? I went blank. I think I finally said I got a speeding ticket and paid the fine. Yeah it did not go well
Thank you soooo much 🤗
You’re welcome 😊
This is a really good video, thank you!
Do you have any advice for questions on applications like "Salary Expectations?" Because that stresses me out haha. I graduate next year so I have time to think of a number but I`m just uncomfortable giving an answer. Would you suggest just searching the median salary for nurses in my area? Thanks!
that's a great question. i've never been asked that before in an interview. Yes, I would look at the median salary in your state and add a little ;)
@@NurseAggz Thank you so much for replying! Your videos are awesome and very helpful, I really appreciate it! :)
Thank you :-)
Hi ,what question you think they will ask when you're just applying for nursing school , you know they have interviews before acceptance..
why do you want to be a nurse? why do you want to go to that program? i wasn't interviewed for my school but I imagine those are the kind of questions they'd ask
@@NurseAggz Ok thanks
Smart thanks u
Hi i am new graduate nurse and can you tell how can i apply nursing job without interview
Sweet and beautiful lady
Thank you for the information
your so pretty, I find it hard to learn from pretty teachers 🥸
Thank you so much 💙 I messaged you on IG, hope to hear back from you.
Thank you !
you just have this air about u that would make me want to instantly hire u--perhaps it's that wonderful smile!
nevertheless, i gotta respectfully disagree w/ you. if they ask me "tell me about yourself" then i'm going to tell them the fuck about myself lol. Hobbies/interests are completely fine.
this question really just gauges the applicants personality :)
take care
😂 thanks for your comment. I wont argue with that.
😁
The video link has expired.....please post again.
Thanks for telling me!

If you want to be a psych nurse, how do you share stories if you have defeated your own issues? And you want to help others do so? Doesnt that paint you in bad light? Mental health is so stigmatized still. Do you lie and say it was a friend? Because I hate keeping track of lies.
I think you people in the USA have it easy when it comes to nursing job interviews. Here in Canada, in addition to these questions she went through, they will also have clinical based questions that are mostly case scenarios. I recently had a job interview and below are the case scenarios they emailed me 5 minutes to the interview because it was a zoom one. Fortunately, I got the job and my first day of work will be December6.
