*PLS READ:* The yellow discharge seems to be causing some anxiety amongst some of you so I thought I would clarify. *Light yellow discharge with no symptoms of itching, burning, offensive smell or abdominal pain can be normal.* Yellow discharge does not always mean an STI.
-----------------------------------------------
But, some STIs can give a classic yellow discharge so its is important to take into consideration other features such as: what is normal discharge for you, and if there are any other symptoms or if you have had unprotected sex (sex without a condom) especially with a new partner- which will increase the risk of having an STI. If you have never had sex, it is unlikely that you will have an STI. Hope this helps!
Hi Ladies, I have been overwhelmed by all the lovely support you have shown for my videos. Thank you for your support of my channel and for the wonderful comments you have been sending me.
I've made this video in response to the hundreds of questions that you have asked about vaginal discharge on CZcams, Facebook and in my DMs on Instagram. I discuss the various colours, and also show you what the discharge looks like. 👀
I also explain what the colours of the discharge mean and how to treat them. I hope you find it as valuable and educational as you have found my last video.

I didn't even get sex education lol in my school
What were you guys taught in sex ed? I'm from SEA and I vaguely remember learning about different types of STDs and probably the free Pads they gave at one time 🤔 But that's about it
High school students need to be taught this.
I'm in middle school/intermediate
I'm a high school student and I find this educational 😊

Good on you for taking the time out of your day to educate yourself :)

I just turned 40 few days ago and said to myself wow can’t believe I’m just now learning all this! Ty YT for the recommend
I'm grateful for this information as well. I just turned 45 recently and I'm still learning about my body lol
" I prefer a black doctor", "I prefer a white doctor"
How's about, " I prefer a doctor who cares about my health and is qualified to practice medicine no matter what beautiful skin color they have?"
Chiney Eyes Right!!! It doesn’t matter about the color. All that matters is the doctor caring about your well being and doing what’s best for the patient!
Because representation is important to people
Especially to those where seeing their kind in a place where before, it was uncommon.
@@HighPriestessVibezTarot and some are being saved by white doctors, some are being killed by black doctors too. I'm not hating on anyone or dismissing what your saying. I'm just saying level it out. Not all black people are saints, not all white people are saints. If you acknowledge that there are great black doctors, acknowledge other races too. Life is NOT black or white, we live in color, let's think in it as well :). Peace to you
I do think there are also issues with minority women have certain issues due to genetics, ex Keratosis Pilaris, certain vitamin deficiencies, which a minority doctor would be more apt to diagnose due to exposure of the issues. Another issue would be that black women experience more issues in obtaining appropriate care, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Why are we not taught this is school? Oh cause it’s “icky” 🤦🏻♀️
Actually its very interesting and informative .
You’re weren’t taught this at school? That’s a worry 😳
Sophia Grace Not a worry, that’s how schools are in the US: inconsistent and only a proportion get this education in High School... I got this education in College...
Sophia Grace no I was not. I’m not even American
Sheila R I didn’t. I literally got this info here and from other personal research. Not from Uni or grade school and I’m Canadian
I was so scared. I just figured I have thrush and I have literally been freaking out. I was going to call my mom but this has saved me. I even got scared I have an infection even if I haven't had sex. Thank you so much Doc. God bless you.🇳🇬❤️
What a wonderful teaching. I was so scared even told my mom that I think I have cancer. I am now experiencing a cream like discharge and have an itchy thrush around my vulva. Thank you, doc for this excellent teaching. Continue to do this good work. You are a God sent, called to help women.
I can't believe this isn't taught in schools, I grew up being so paranoid, scared and ashamed of discharge because I didn't know it was normal til I was like 16, women should not have to feel this way about their natural bodies and functions. Also thank you so much for being so light hearted while still educating and incorporating humour into it
Right? I was always using panty liners and the only thing I did was get a bacterial infection because of them and I was allergic and I did know it. As soon I stop to use them, the weird discharges stopped.
omg yess, i really dont like the fact that many of us grow up not knowing that its normal, for me i really thought something was wrong with my body 😓 i hate to think that there are other younger girls out there who dont really get to ask anyone for advice or help :(
I didn’t know it was normal till I was 20
When I was in like 5 or 6 I think they talked about this stuff but like they expect us to know what to ask
@Katherine Dobson honestly would ruin my WHOLE day if I discharged and didn’t wear a liner. 😂😂

Yeesss!!!! 100% agree with you. Could feel like you have to prepare yourself before doing anything together. It's quite intriguing how many women are coming out and saying they too have felt wow my whole life I thought what's wrong with me? We've been so quiet about it.
Too many parents get uptight about what schools are allowed to teach their children. Luckily I had parents that were not fickle about Sex Ed. We discussed Sex Ed so much that by the time my friends were having sex in H.S. and getting pregnant, I had absolutely NO DESIRE!

I think maybe because boys and girls are in the same class, I feel like there should be a sex Ed for girls and same for boys
Right? I would ask my mom about discharge and she would tell me she never had that growing up. So she always made me feel like I had something wrong down there lol.

Shoutout to my very first boyfriend with lots of ''experience'' who truly believed vaginal discharge ONLY happens when sexually aroused and nothing else.
😭😂😭😫
Lol... Think he'll ever find a mate he doesn't accuse of cheating?
@@KarleeCampbell it's even worse, he thinks he's the one who caused it. Like he's some sex god.
Lol, though women do produce discharge when horny or maybe sexually uncomfortable or stimulated down there or when seeing anything sex related, it only happens because your body was trying to prepare itself for sex and automatically lubes you up whether you like it or not. Maybe it has to do with hormones. Its the same thing with random boners. Still though, its funny and stupid how being wet means horny when it does not. But stimulation or seeing adult stuff does make more discharge to get the peepee in.
Which got me thinking, its sad for the girls who have been shamed for "enjoying" being raped because they are wet when it's really just stimulation
OMG MY BF WAS THE SAME I HAD TO TEACH HIM LMFAO

Good morning from Phila PA in the States. This video popped up in my feed this morning out of nowhere. I so appreciate this. I am 56 years old and learned some new things today. I just subscribed to your channel after watching.
I think they should just give Dr's to teach biology. Teachers are just like parents who scared to talk about sex in details. This was on point
Exactly
Or they will teach about it and say this why you should remain abstinent, scaring the person.
@@tyralodriqkes3604 exactly which is not the casv
My biology teacher had a doctorate but she was not a medical doctor but we never even covered human sex in that class
@@ughhhmcrbinch5583 then you never finished the syllabus, lol
Exactly true
Why is this not taught in schools, i feel like this should be a part of basic education
Genuinely? Schools can get sued by parents. They have to be very careful about what they teach OTHER people's kids. Most schools go the simple route and skip it entirely. Also, there are a LOT of things they "should" teach in school, to the point it's just too much. At some point, it's on you to look it up and research for yourself, or to ask your parents, or whatever. Schools teach too much as is, we need to roll back some of our education.
Heaven Nunya they have sexual education, they SHOULD include this, all I learned from SE in school was “use a condom” and for girls the information In this video should have been at least slightly covered. Also, you said they have to be careful what they teach other people’s children, they usually have a letter sent to parents with all the information that will be taught for them to give permission for their child to be taught this. I’m pretty sure you’re a male, therefore your input is not needed on this comment section🙂
@@katielololol I'm a woman, and I don't appreciate your sexism. What made you think I'm male? The fact I disagreed? Sorry if I'm being a bit salty but it really pisses me off when people assume I'm a man just because of my opinions. It's sexist as hell and there's literally no indication of my sex through my words.
They want to teach as wide an audience as possible, right? So they want SE to be as uncontroversial as possible, I don't know about you, but when I was in health class, they also discussed that if things go outside what is considered normal for you, you should check with a doctor. We also have the internet. Add in the fact that most young girls aren't going to sit through it and listen anyway because no one likes hearing the details of this shit wen they're young, especially in school or from your parents, it'd be kinda pointless. Most adults don't even remember basic history classes, why in sam hell would they remember this?
As I said before, there a lot of things you could say "should" be included in education. Fact of the matter is, there's too much. At some point you are responsible for yourself. We need to be cutting back education requirements, not adding onto them. Kids are burning out from being indoors all day and having their attention spans pushed to the limit. That is a far bigger issue.
@@heavennunya809
I would be a bit more with the other comment if I haven't seen with my own eyes how my female classmates deliberatelly didn't heard to both S.E. teachers we got, three if we count the class our biology teacher, a male medic with more than 30 of experience who make us know they can do any doubs related with sexual organs and he can call the other female teacher if they felled a bit ashamed of their questions and felles more inconfidwnce with her.
To mak it, short just me and some boys take it as usefull and taked notes, not just for the exam cose most of it wasn't.
It wasn't at least in general for the home education, becasue they talked all days of haviang sex, using or not, anticonceptive pills, ( condoms were not in discussion for some reason). It was all so confusing to me to discover their parents were angry of this classes results, ...for talking about sexual topics? No, because they talked so much bullshit when there were at home about the topics given, that the teacher nedded to give provs how they didn't give content based on opinions and based on scientific succesfull studies.
@@aylenpons6682 It's a general issue with education in general lately. It isn't just the education system that's failing, it's also the fact that parents have gotten lazy. They really should be paying more attention to what their kids learn in school and also help make sure their kid is learning and retaining information by teaching the importance of that information. But, most parents just go "they're supposed to learn in school" and treat school like some sort of free babysitting service. It's incredibly frustrating. As a side effect, you have a bunch of bratty kids who don't pay attention and don't take advantage of their education, end up going to college because they were told to, and then complain about how their life sucks later when they never took anything seriously. At least that's been my experience with my fellow age group of Gen Z and some Gen Y.
I really wish this was talked about in school. So important!

I wish schools would teach men about women’s bodies like periods, discharge, etc instead of separating the women and men into different rooms during sex Ed because they could have a girlfriend, sister , or daughter someday so I find it important to educate both genders.
Exactly!!!
When I was taught about puberty, periods etc in school they didn’t separate boys from girls but that does happen in other schools so I do agree with you.
In our school, although both boys and girls were sperated we all learnt the same things. And boys would have to learn about periods and pregnancy aswell.
Being on the girl's side, they didn't teach us almost any of this, just that sex was icky, then that periods and babies happen

What is ur discharge
Me too. I'm 37 and I've always thought that ANY type of discharge was abnormal. My parents never spoke to me about sex and sexual health and also, back when I was in school, sex education was virtually non existent.

Thank you Doctor for mentioning spotting after menopause. I had very slight blood spotting a few years after my periods stopped. No other symptoms. I felt silly saying anything to my doctor - it might have been a teaspoon or a little more a day. But, I told her and she had me get a biopsy that day. I am blessed that my doctor listened as it was early stage endometrial cancer. All I needed was a hysterectomy with oophorectomy. I didn't need radiation or chemo because the cancer was contained. I understand women are often diagnosed for endometrial cancer after it is terminal, due to the lack of symptoms. Spotting is a big deal after menopause!
Hello and thank you so much for this video. It is really assuring to know what is normal and what isn't and at least in my case it helps to stop me from overthinking it.

It’s crazy how certain topics in female body is not talked about in school. For instance, bottom of underwear can look stained even if it’s clean due to acidity of virginal discharge. I was only 20 when I found out and yes I’m a female.
Same here! I’m 21 now but I was so embarrassed and found out it was normal and I felt so relieved!
Wait. That's normal? I thought i had a problem, I kept buying new underwear like crazy!! Why doesn't anyone talk about this?
@@imaloser0 ikr it’s so embarrassing when it happens and then all along it was normal to begin with🙄
Omg I feel so normal now and accepted 😭
Hello doctor If your vagina is itching but my. Discharge is white is there something wrong with me
ONE OF THE BEST and most comprehensive videos I've seen by far!!!
Thank you! 😊
Looking for pregnancy tips and bump into you , you just gained a new follower 😊
I, a gay man, have had this recommended in my feed. Watched the whole thing of course.
As you should.
As you should I truly believe everybody should know this stuff
Be my friend, you sound like fun! 😁
You came out through a vagina, as everyone else. So you should know everything about it. Those informations might come handy one day, for a daughter for example.
you'll be a great father my guy😌
I'm a gynecologist and loved the simple way you explained vaginal discharge. You were awesome. Thank you
What causes the viginal discharge to increase. I'm having alot as in lot of discharge, smelly nd itchy sometimes. Plz help what should I do beside seeing a doctor
zana yengw I’m no doctor whatsoever, but from my own experience, it sounds like you could have a yeast infection.
What causes small black spots on walls of vagina...not top part which is hairy but close to the smooth liningheadingtowards the vagina itself...it is itchy at times but not always
Can I text with u @dana dana
Pls wat causes thick blood to occur after one week of menstruation but without pain

Pls am having discharge for a very long I have use different medication it still did not stop
@@faithodeh5968 Discharge is normal, you don't have to stop it. Use a small pad or something to protect your underwear if it's a lot. Just look out for signs of disease or other problems, which this video explains how to spot.
YES TRUE
Saw this in my recommended and went “Eh? Might as well.”

What about white discharge?
@@dabohferemusu7635 Start watching at 8:13. She addresses this type of discharge in depth. 🙂
In my country sex or anything related to it is taboo topic. So not even our parents talks about em let alone have sex ed class. Woman are shamed and embarrassed to even talk about these or get any proper guidance. Videos like these are really informative and the way she described it was really nice! Will share it with my friends ❤️

Good thing someone helped me :) I have yeast infection... It's very hard having that infection...
So many saying “why are we not taught this in school?!” The real question is, why are we not taught this by our parents????
Probably because they weren't taught about it in school either.
@@ChicNuggetu exactly lol
Thanks a bunch
Liberal schools want to teach gay, lesbian, transgender and even tell kids they might not really be a male/female to intentionally confuse them but they aren't interested in teaching what we "Know for Fact" about our bodies. Discharge is probably the single most confusing thing that causes great stress that nobody talks about.
@@nunyabuisness7552 Oh no! God forbid kids are taught about different identities and given the language to identify themselves with instead of being confused and ashamed for years or even decades! I agree the education system is shit when it comes to sex ed, but let's not insert bigoted opinions into the conversation.
Totally unrelated, but she has stunning, stunning skin, my god.
And hair!
Her face is pretty enough to have a tinge of jealousy. LOL
right?? she’s so pretty!!!
for GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON that whoever believeth in HIM should not perish but have eternal life"-the Gospel of JESUS written by john 3:16."But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"-the Gospel of JESUS written by john 1:12. hi! @@userm180 I respect your decision or anything, i'm not offending your region but i'm not christian. I'm not here to judge your comment and be really offence to your cultre and region but what a great comment to say i'm sure god loves everyone even if people are not christian. It doesn't matter because god will love us no matter what.
Wow. Learned a lot. Wish you were around 40 years ago to explain this to my mom and me. Back then it was so taboo to discuss it, especially the direction to wipe. I’ve been curious for awhile. For the cycle it was simply your aunt Mary has come to visit. What a stupid phrase. My mother didn’t know better and hid my menstrual stuff. I was allowed access in case it came early. so a male wouldn’t see the stuff. She would be embarrassed but she would have gotten me help if there were female doctors. I still have questions and she has died. I just started menopause now, but I’m so glad to learn from you.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s never too late to learn and I’m so pleased that you find my content valuable. Thank you for your support .❤️
Thank you so much for your videos! Since sexEd is almost unexisting in my country, I find them very useful and helpful.
You’re welcome!😊 I’m pleased you find them valuable! Thank you for watching.
This seriously should be shown in every sex Ed class. I just learnt more in 16 minutes than I did in 5 years of sex Ed at school.
You get 5 years of sex ed? LMAOOOOO I got maybe 3 weeks total in all 12 years
Teresa C-N it really is terrible how it’s taught in schools 🤦🏼
5 years?? i had 1 class ... and all we did was put a condom on a banana.
I was 17 when I figured out that discharge was normal. The fact that I wasn’t taught this in school. They should teach us this 💔 it’d be better if they teach this to both genders but you’ve always go the immature ones
Is it very educative
SENSATIONAL SIMI Plentiful Appreciation & Gratitude following the important information received ! Warmest wishes wonderful Divine Doctor ! XxxxxxxxxxxxxxxX
I am so glad I found your videos I feel like this stuff isn't mentioned when we are young this should be taught in either school or college.
Simi: S... T
Me: D

And here I thought I was smart"
They changed it from STD to STI. Why? I have no clue. (Edit: Alright guys I know now. No need to keep messaging the same answer).
I am also expecting "D" hahaha
Because it went from being classified as a Disease to an Infection... I guess disease sounds more permanent 😂
Sti is infection. Std is disease.
Omg same. I feel for it too 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t realize how normal my discharge was! I’ve gotten tested and swabbed so many times because I swore I was producing too much and that something was up. But no, lol I was just paranoid. Everything’s fine lmao
renée elizabeth same lol I used to be like are you sure
Girl you just got a WAP!

Hey doc Good day am so happy to watch your videos it make me feel openly and understanding what i did not know..
Thank you for all these examples , I learned about trush 😮. Thank you
This really helped me A LOT, I come from a strict religious household so my parents never thought me anything about my body or the body of the opposite genders growing up, so every time (till this day) I thought that the discharge was a sign that something was of etc. I’d never had the courage to ask someone let alone my mom so now that I finally know that it’s normal I can have some peace in mind, so thank you so much😭🙏🏻
yall talking about how happy you are to see a black doctor, i'm just wondering what the hell is on those pads

Thanks so much for this video Doc, i learned so much n more. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Dear Dr. Adedeji, I'am 80, all the things you have talked about, where very taboo when i was young. I think now my dear mother didn't know much about womens body's. Thank you, i have learnt a lot today, and as they say better late than never. big hugs god bless.
Hello, thank you so much for leaving me this comment and for sharing your story. I really appreciate that you’ve taken the time to say this and it’s made my day ☺️and you’re absolutely correct- it’s never too late to learn something new! 🤓 👩🏾🎓
They should start teaching this at school. When I started to get discharge at 11, I was too scared to tell my mom because I thought something was wrong with me.
Bruh I thought I WAS PRODUCING SEMEN when I first had this 🤦🏻♀️
Icy Diamond the same here, despite the fact young women are reaching puberty at an earlier age.

Thank you. I’m 63 years old and discharged sometimes and sometimes don’t. Lightly not all the time.. I’m married and trust my husband if he ever give me a disease I’m going to cut it off..You need to put info in schools
