Man, this dude is a freak of nature! I'm shocked he didn't win Mr Olympia at least once! As I'm keying this, Dillett said his preparation was never the same after the cardiac incident.
Just standing there and walking around...the ultimate bodybuilder of all time..his form from 93-94...he looked like an alien...we have not seen anything like him since...his x frame with legs to match made him look like the most impressive specimen on the planet...forever

I don't think there's any arguement buddy. The 90s was peak time for bodybuilding.
Some truly massive guys with outrageous conditioning and detail. Full, but dry as a bone.
The guys today pale hugely compared to them.
I'm no fan of Phil heath, but he came closest to the roundness, fullness and conditioning which was default mode for the top guys back then.
Shawn did the same with his O win, but his back wouldn't stand up to any of the top guys back in the 90s.

For the life of me I will never understand the judging in bodybuilding. How does this man not have a Mr Olympia trophy? We have all these Mr Olympia winners that have bigger stomachs than Santa Claus. Despite his posing his physique is flawless. The judging in bodybuilding has held bodybuilding back. It can be frustrating as hell being a fan.

Evereytime he time he got on stage It was a spectacle that bewildered the bodybuilding community-how could a paragon of perfection be denied his crown? I think the bodybuilding community is beginning to voice its discontent. And rightfully so.

Dillett had 2 standout weaknesses - his flat pack back and his crap posing, other than that he practically crushes everyone into the dirt with that mega muscle mass in all other areas held together with great symmetry by that ridiculously tiny waist, and superb abs. Definitely a leading uncrowned Mr. O champ.
I think, he was just cheated, or luck wasn’t on his side 🤔The mr Olympia contest have it favourite. Kai could pose but never won,. Flex could pose above his peers but never won….🙈

@@davidawuku2910 I don’t agree that he was cheated, he just doesn’t carry himself like he owns the stage. I’ve seen small bodybuilders with inferior physiques win by superior focus on presentation. For example, Chris Dickerson - Mr O 1982, choreographed every move and posed with class and polish even though I didn’t rate his physique highly. I don’t question Dilletts passion, it’s just his priorities needed work. He just looked like he made up the routine on the spot, with not so well coordinated posing. A bit cringey to be honest, the amateur attention to presentation is so obvious. In competition, Bodybuilders have to put on a show, because that’s exactly what it is. All pro bodybuilding training is geared to prepare a physique to show, end of.

His Arms were just insane, he even had huge Forearms, Nobody ever had huge Forearms. To Bad his Poseing sucked or he would ve Ranked Higher.
Lee Priest also has massive forearms, but Paul's physique is overall better. If only he posed better

Facts
How was he not Mr. Olympia? He had size, monstrosity, aesthetics and symmetry. It was too unfair to do this to him right back in the Gold Era.
His back was lacking and his posing was bad. He trained with Charles Glass but could never feel his back. A lot of people who saw him train said he was lazy in the gym. When you're a genetic freak like that you often don't put in the really hard work.

Back wasn't where it needed to be and couldn't pose, absolute genetic freak though.
He suffered from success. So big he couldn't pose. For example back double biceps he didn't fully extend the back so he looked small

Just look at his movement at 1:53. His movements are very quick. I don't think you need such fast posing technique. The slower you are more is the muscle movemrnt can be seen. But that pose looks really good on him.

Paul Fillet was the biggest mass monster. Only one thing I can get: how could he weigh 275lb looking bigger than guys shorter than him at the same weight? For me he lied about his weight and weighs atleast 320lb on stage, the guy was just too big even than Dorian Yates and Ronnie Coleman.
