Love your vids. Love the Ju06a. It's limited but still a powerful synth for the $. Solid arp and solid chord function. I recommend it to anyone just getting into synths.
These are great synths. I'll likely get another one and chain them together to get 8 note polyphony. I tend to play more jazz so I don't have a big need for the arp or sequencer.
Honestly the 4 note polyphony thing really isn’t that much of a downside considering the fact that most music only works with 7th chords, and 9th/13th chords are normally just for jazz and lofi. I did try the chaining feature and it actually makes it harder to use, because the only thing that connects is the midi signal, not the presets/sound, meaning that if you have even one knob on the Juno turned the wrong way, or accidentally mess with one of the sliders, 4 of the notes will have a different sound.
Ju06a and k25m are already in my shopping cart. I'm curious how you deal with the pitch bend when the K25m doesn't have a pitch bend wheel? that's what makes me worried 🤔🙁
@@LiamKillenShorts If you have docked it with the K25M, can you still use the MIDI controller via the MIDI connector on the back? If yes, will both k25m and midi controller be active at the same time?

Me too- love the thing.

Yeah they're pretty solid.
2 x ju-06 are about 750 euros, u can take a real juno x for about 1200

Yeah it's still very capable for sure.
I like Roland. I am not sure yet if I like you yet.
Fair
I scored an awesome deal on a mint used piece, however it did not have a dock like my other boutiques. Did yours have a dock? DK-01
I'm not sure what you mean by a dock.
@@LiamKillenShorts the dock is the flip up case that allow for the unit to sit at an angle. Google Roland DK-01
For live performance though, do you believe it would be too limiting?
It depends but I would say yes.

Yeah you'd need some other unit in order t pitch bend with something like the JU-06A

Really not anything “boutique” about roland lol
