Lots of people used to be Republicans when they were younger. Of course, today's Republican Party isn't the same party as when I was a kid - not even close.
And if Elizabeth Warren did _anything_ "wrong" in 2016, I can't imagine what it might be. She actively supported the Democratic nominee. It's sure as hell not _her_ fault that we've got Donald F. Trump as president!

Bullshit. I own a small business, and borrowing money was almost impossible, She compares 2008-10 to the current period as though 2008-10 was a normal period. Of course the lending is up from that period. And when she says "up 4% or 7%," what does that mean? Number of loans? Amount of money loaned? Number of borrowers? Number of loans? Is it adjusted for inflation? At a 3% inflation rate, since 2008, the difference based only on inflation, the difference would be 24-27%.
