some application of ios iphone ipad requires iOS 10.0 or later. but user can't install on your phone.
this video is to solve the problem. no update iOS.
when you get this message

Actually, you can do it without a computer. Download whatever application you want on an apple device that meets the application requirements. Then go to the device that is on an older ios and it will show that cloud and arrow thing. It should download or at least give you the last compatible version of the app. Hopefully this helped. If you have a desktop/laptop download 3utools, bind your apple ID/password, plug your device into the laptop and you could browse for your desired apps! Hope this works!

hi!! sorry but I have a question, so i did try to do your method by using my macbook pro and tried to download the apps like youtube, snapchat and instagram (i have an ipad mini 1st), and it wont even let me download that because it says its not compatable to download on a computer.. so does that mean that I must go to an updated iphone and then proceed to do the directions like u showed on ur video?

I believe this no longer works. App button is removed and it's also no longer visible in the preferences. EDIT : I was able to get the button back by installing the BUSINESS version of Itunes. EDIT : As for doing this trick with itunes, it didn't work for me. Need more elaboration on how and why these steps are taken.

My situation is a little different. You see I can download the app such as TheCW app but I can only download an older version (technically I already had it but I deleted it and redownloaded it to see if it made a difference). But when I start up the app, a notification comes up saying the current version of the app is no longer supported and I need to update to the newer version. Now obviously I can't get the new version. The app itself works but I can't do anything because that notification is in the way and I can't get rid of it

If you don’t have a computer to use iTunes use another phone with the same Apple ID and newer version and then download it and it will let you use an older version of that app in the phone your trying to get it on.

I've done this too using my other iPhone with the same iCloud account. You just have to download it first on your other phone and go back to your old iPhone AppStore to check the apps you have been downloaded listed in purchased section then it will allow you to download the old version of the app. However, some apps may be downloaded but cannot be used just like wechat it requires to have the newest version for you to log in and this is my problem now😅

Then you're out of luck.
Any app released for iOS 11 or 10 will NOT be compatible with older versions of iOS.

I tried to download a app called flipaclip, so I used my widows 8.1, did it, then went on my iPad generation 2, and it did not work. I followed the steps, and I have iOS 9.3.5, but it still says "update to iOS 10" Awesome vid tho

But with the new ios 11, I cant download apps in my computer

Sorry if you use ios 6, you can reinstall the application back to an application that used to only work with ios6, but it can not be used with new applications that were not available in ios6 at that time.
So this method works for some applications only, do you understand it?
