Someone who mainly is an analyst can probably put more time into analysis than a coach who has to think about so many other things at the same time to prepare his fighter. @@fullanarchy dumbest comment I have ever seen, the only fight where Adesanya has gotten caught with a lot of shots was the Kelvin fight. The only one. Rob didn’t touch him(got knocked out twice in one fight by the way) Yoel landed that one overhand bomb and had almost no success in hitting Izzy for the entirety of the fight after that. And the Costa fight was literally a flawless performance, I don’t think Costa’s hands touched Izzy’s face once. Genuinely the most biased comment I’ve ever seen. Izzy got hit in the face clean maybe 4-5 times in his last 3 fights(against 3 of the best middleweights in the world) I don’t know what you’ve been watching. Only shots you see guys landing on Izzy consistently in his last 3 fights are leg attacks.
That being said I definitely think Jan only needs to connect clean once for the fight to be over so it’s still a very competitive fight. But saying Izzy is hittable? Cmon man that’s just horseshit.

Interesting breakdown. I still have a feeling Jan may come away with the belt. His clinch game is strong, striking out of the clinch is great. His body kicks will also play a big role in if he wins as well. In the Romero fight Izzy was struggling to box with Yoel because Yoel was able to counter him. Yoel is a great boxer but I can see Jan being able to hit him with a few big shots as well and if he hits you good, goodnight! Can also see Izzy jabbing his nose off and getting a tko off that. Looking forward to a great fight, good luck to both guys.
