Great team win last night!
That said, biggest hits so far ALL dished out by Florida (Tkachuk on Troch, Mikkola on Chytil and Lomberg on Vesey).
To win this series, Trouba needs to lead with much more snarl and physicality, especially in front of Igor.
I see where you are coming from, but the Rangers did out hit them in game 2. Were they highlight reel hits? No! But they were much more physical.
Kulikov on Wenburger was the biggest hit of the playoffs. Kuli was on demon mode last night

The depth of the Rangers 4 lines helped edge out the talented and almost a carbon copy of themselves.. It's going to be a long series. The Rangers proves the can play disciplined hockey the full game without a unanswered points and not relying on other team's penalties.
Much better outlet yesterday. Less time in our zone and we attacked them. Got to a lot more loose pucks and got shots on net. Keep playing that way and let Igor do his thing.
Great win but even as a Rangers fan, the Panthers have all the grinders and physical players needed to win. People have guilted me on here because I am supposed to be a Blueshirts fan--which I have been for 50 yrs. However, I feel like I am Mike Keenan before the trade deadline telling everyone that we're tough enough to win the Cup. The Rangers consequently got bigger and tougher with the addition of Noonan, Matteau et al. I think the Rangers were outplayed in game 2--it's almost as if Florida had magnets to their sticks and the puck had metal in it. I had to shut it off in disgust--missed passes, anemic power play, etc
The D lines need to put the kitty cats into the boards, checking, checking & more checking.. clean up the front of the net, more bottom six scoring & I’m reiterating here….. PUT THE KITTY CATS INTO BOARDS!!!! Meow! LFGR!!!!!

"Eked out". The Panthers won like 12 OT games in a row but when they do it it's them being great when the Rangers do it it's them eking out a win.
3:43 I hate it when people make incorrect observations in these - how can Johnny Lazerus say something so STUPID as that Lafreniere doesn't throw the body normally? He's lead the team in hits in multiple games during these playoffs. I'm glad at least Larry and Mollie know what they're talking about, Johnny is no NYR beat reporter if he gets his info so wrong.
