- COVID-19, caused by Coronavirus (SARS-CoV2) is a Zoonosis. Meaning, the virus that caused disease in humans was transferred from an animal.

We have discovered many ethical issues with an intensive type of farming system. These factory farms are rotten to the core. The way the animals are treated is disgusting. I know that we need to become more efficient to feed an overgrowing population. But this is definitely not the recommended option.
Yes, feeding an overgrowing population is a serious issue that needs to be addressed efficiently! As I always say, we all must eat in *moderation*! Everything must be in moderation. The humanity must learn (back again) what moderation means. We have treated, and destroyed, our mother nature so badly that it will take years and years to recover IF we act *now*! We *must* act now! @@CancerEdInstitute Harvesting and raising animals in large factory farms are the main reason for spillover of contagions to Humans. As this activity is growing to feed mankind's insatiable appetite for cheap meat the situation gets more perilous by each passing day.

It's not Cats people bring into grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, libraries, pubs, public parks, shopping malls etc.
Dogs are literally super spreaders of Zoonoses.
It is odd that a virus would start in animals with very few cases but explode in humans past millions.
Yes, unfortunately, animals are used as a "host" by the virus. Zoonosis is really a horrible thing, especially when we, the humans, are making it more exponentially growing.
