    4:23 "pearl jam isnt an infinite supply of stands." Well, to be fair, harvest has about 500 units, and bad company had about 60 of each division in its unit, so they do not have an infinite amount either.
    Perhaps tonio IS missing something fundamentally, as his stand developed after both he was forced to eject himself from his family (also shown in PHF, where basically the brunt of this video's concept came from) and his search to find something to cure his lover (shown in the thus spoke rohan kishihibe one off) Plus, the way he reacted to Josuke entering his kitchen could also point to abnormalities.

    • @gonderage
      @gonderage Před 7 lety +84

      When I think about it, one of the missing fundaments in Tonio is his lover being healthy, and how they are missing out on many fundamental lover things, thus attaining Pearl Jam.

    • @Zalian
      @Zalian Před 7 lety +118

      It's quite possible that the amount of splitting is proportional to how much the person is missing. Hence Pearl Jam and Sex Pistols stands are both from people who seem somewhat normal, whereas far-gone dysfunctional ones have their stand in a gratuitous supply to the extent of things like Harvest.

    • @QueenMonoChrome
      @QueenMonoChrome Před 7 lety +66

      +Zalian
      That might explain Kira a bit more. His 'splits' are just tiny aspects of his main personality, SHA being Killer Queen's hand and BzD being just a tiny Killer Queen (though that in itself begs the question of BzD being part of a group...)

    • @megasupergames
      @megasupergames Před 7 lety +54

      Bites the Dust _is_ Killer Queen if I recall correctly. Kira had to unmake Bites the Dust in order to be able to summon the full-sized Killer Queen to protect himself against Josuke, an action he referred to as "recalling" Killer Queen, as if it was absent from him and needed to return from being installed into Hayato.
      SHA is a bit weirder, but wasn't Kira also unable to use the first bomb until SHA had "returned" to his hand? I seem to remember him getting ambushed by some thugs in an alleyway on his way to retrieve it once he realized Koichi and Jotaro held their own against it, but I don't remember how he disposed of them.

    • @bahamut8199
      @bahamut8199 Před 7 lety +41

      No,he can still use the primary bomb. He uses it to blow the fingers off of one of the thugs when he goes to grab his wallet, the reason he didn't kill them straight away was because of the 3Freeze making if so hard for him to move. The only time he can't use the primary bomb is when BitesTheDust is active because Killer Queen is not with him and he has to re-call him.

    I feel like the description for Group Stands is inaccurate, especially for Risotto. Risotto was loyal to his group. He was their leader and he cared for them like a family, that's why he betrayed Diavolo when he had Sorbet and Gelato tortured and assassinated. They were his family, tortured, killed, and made examples of by the one he though he could trust above all else. It wasn't because he was inherently treacherous, he was the one betrayed. And I'm pretty sure this was after he already had Metallica because he was already part of the gang.

    I got a theory video idea for ya. Since Group Stands are created from a hollow feeling inside, what emotions or traits could result in other Stand types/powers? I'd particularly would want your take on one of my favorite (albeit confusing) Stands of all time, Killer Queen.
    It's an odd case because it's hard to classify Killer Queen as JUST a Close Range Stand, due to Sheer Heart Attack and Bites the Dust. But this makes it a perfect subject because unlike most characters (only from Parts 1-4, I was spoiled by the anime so I'm waiting for the other Parts to be animated) there is a change, somewhat, in his character that results in him getting Bites the Dust. He's also perfect because it has multiple types, so you could compare traits of his character with other Stand users.
    I brought up Bites the Dust because it's a time related power and I believe that the power to manipulate time, something important in Parts 3 and 4, has a common emotional trait: Desperation. Making it the Deus Ex Machina of Stand powers, which is saying a lot considering Echoes' Acts are a thing. DIO knows this feeling all too well, he was literally just a head and even more so when he thought he was going to die with Jonathan on the boat. Jotaro felt this during his entire journey, his mother's life was on the line and then he was going to be crushed by a ROAD ROLLA DA. And both DIO and Jotaro don't like people, the difference being that DIO thinks of himself as a god while Jotaro just likes fish more, so that may be why they can create their own "world of stopped time" to quote DIO, where nobody can bother them. Josuke and his mother were trapped in a snowstorm (not as intense as the other ones but that event did have a big impact on his life, I mean just look at his hair) and he is a kind person and his power reflects that greatly. Now onto Kira, when he killed Hiyato and screwed himself over. He was having a mental breakdown, if that wasn't desperation then I don't know what is. He doesn't remember events from previous loops because he just wants to go about his normal day and live a quiet life. It's a time loop to begin with for that same reason and if anybody learns his name then they disappear from his quiet life.
    But Killer Queen is also a Close Range Stand much like the main villain and protagonists from Part 3 and 4 so there would be another trait that groups them all together. Maybe strong anger? That would work for Kira (not necessarily an angry person but seems that way when he hasn't killed anyone for a while, maybe he felt angry all the time before murdering people?), DIO (toward the Joestar family), Josuke (when you insult his hair), and Jotaro (who punches you thus causing you to explode because you pissed him off). I think Okiyasu would work in this as well, since he is easily angered.
    The first bomb makes sense, Kira wants his problems to just disappear but I honestly don't know about the second bomb, Sheer Heart Attack. It still confuses me.

    • @dragonheart1236
      @dragonheart1236 Před 5 lety

      I believe close range brawler types represent a strong will to achieve something. And as for Killer Queen, everything about Killer Queen is convince. The stand itself can disintegrate people quickly and silently(to non-stand users), SHA can do the same from long range, and you explained BTD. Basically, Killer Queen is the manifestation of Kira's desire for a simple life, by literally making his job easier

      Well, thats not entirely true, since Jotaro, as an example, definitely downplays his emotions a *lot* throughout part 3, yet Star Platinum is *the* premiere Close Quarters stand

    antonio wants people to acknoladge him and his talent so maybe that is what he wants , but he is not mentaly damaged or anything , so his stand is not a verry large ammount .

    Wager Stands(BTW, I personally use that title for these stands). They're a type of Automatic stand that activates when their User's opponent loses. Basically Osiris, Atum, Boys II Man, and Marilyn Manson.

    Maybe the missing piece for Tonio is the girl he lost in his time in Italy or, more literally, his inability to help her when suffering from her “brain tumor” (tumor not confirmed, but implied, you already know) and others, leading to a group stand able to heal the body of impurities.

    Well, this is not another stand group, just a classified one, it being independent stands, basically stands that could basically talk, help other people without the user being active or just being self-aware at times, best examples I know are Sex Pistols, Echoes (specifically Act 3), GER and Spice Girls
