So get your grapes and sit down because FINALLY you are going to celebrate it the Spanish way, which may I say, it's very exciting. If you were curious as to how we celebrate it, here's how!
I changed it up a bit and this video it's a bit more vlog-y but I'm still not very used to it. I have to practice lol. On top of that many things went wrong while filming this video, one of them being the audio, woops sorry for that.
I hope you get some useful practice with with comprehensible input!

El mejor vídeo sobre las uvas que he visto en mi vida jaja. De hecho tengo una historia graciosa sobre esta tradición.. mi amiga hispanohablante me estaba explicando esta tradición (en inglés) pero ella tenía la traducción equivocada, entonces ella me dijo “we eat 12 grapefruit, 1 per second, at midnight” y no pude creer que los españoles comen tantos pomelos

@@edibenuruner9412 Pretty good, I would say. I spent a couple hundred hours studying/listening to Spanish throughout 2021, and I'm still going. I can definitely tell my comprehension is improving. It will probably be a few more years until I get to the level I want to reach, but slowly I'm getting there. and enjoying the process!

It's actually called comprehensible input and without subtitles you give more focus on comprehension rather than identifying every single word

Tu video ha sido muy divertido , la verdad! Este año mi hija y yo tuvimos una videollamada con mis amigos en Andalucía a su hora de medianoche allí, 3:00 por la tarde aquí en Oregon y comimos la uvas de prisa juntos con las campanadas . Fue muy chulo compartir esta tradición con ellos. Y cuando yo fui de compras buscando uvas aquí en el supermercado, solamente había como 5 bolsas allí. Me puse contenta que podía comprarlas.
