  • In the political jungle, “Men in Grey Kilts” are the kingmakers, whispering in hushed tones as they orchestrate the grand chessboard of leadership. With a flick of their sgian dubh, they anoint leaders, their poker faces revealing nothing but the faintest smirk of bureaucratic satisfaction. With special guest Derek Kerr

    ...not one Scottish political party will ever bring about independence to Scotland while they swear an oath of allegiance to king & country (British state), only by civil unrest can this be achieved (History tells so), every Scottish political party who takes a seat in Westminster is a puppet of the British state, almost 10 years since to the date 2014 failure to achieve independence we have learned nothing, but continue to serve our colonial masters at the cost of Scottish lifes, this constant attack on the Scottish people by means of reducing our rights as sovereign citizens, withholding funds to maintain a healthy standard of life is constantly being deliberately eroded, and yet while on our knees we continue to except this behaviour from these parasites and do very little? Well done Scotland i am so proud of you!

      I find you can talk with Alex Salmond, and he listens. I've spoke with others in the SNP; Stephen Flynn, Chris Law, etc, they just stick to Party Policy, totally robotic and not very intelligent at all. With Alex Salmond you can see he's active and considerate while talking with you, not at you, not to you. It's the arrogance of the present SNP which totally puts me off them, not so much egotism, just closed to outside opinion and alternate fact... such as the irrelevance of identity politics... and sexuality should be a personal matter not a governmental one... nor especially an "educational" one.

  • @NellLowe-ev4bv
    @NellLowe-ev4bv Před 4 měsíci +6

    I'll always admire Alex Salmond for what he's done for Scotland but I'll never understand him accepting the franchise for the Ref which allowed everyone and his dog a vote on our most important issue, that was bad enough but i've heard him say a second ref would be held on that same franchise. this is why I never want another ref to be the route to independence.

    Lloyd is right, it wasn't that Humza wouldn't make a deal with Alba it was the SNP machine who ensured that was never going to happen. I'm shocked that only one candidate is going to challenge Swinney.

    I'd like to see all the wee groups get behind one Party or form one Party... In unity, strength. The basics are so basic, the needs so immediate. Politics should be broad and general, not so specific as to give minorities absolute power. I mean, discrimination is s simple word, as are the steps to end such. Hate Laws and such, they are a backward step as they are discriminatory. So rather than a Party getting itself in a tangle of meaningless meanings, simplicity is what we should all aim for. Therein is actual equality, actual progress.

  • @NellLowe-ev4bv

    Westminster knows that the only way to keep the union in tact is for the SNP to remain in power, they're hoping that Swinney will be able to fool enough people into thinking that the party is getting back on track, on the other hand they know that should Labour come to power then in 5 yrs the support for indy will have risen even more.

    • @georgefuters7411
      @georgefuters7411 Před 4 měsíci

      The only way that Wastemonster can keep the union intact is to ferment discord between us... we're fighting for independence while we don't have a national broadcast company or effective national media to counteract the barrage of London propaganda we're subjected to daily 🤔🙄🥴
      Divide and conquer was always the unwritten motto of the British empire and serves them well in keeping us in line.
      We need to unite, get feet on the streets and out them Infront of the UN and the European court of human rights.
      Shout so loud they can't not hear us!

      The SNP and Independence are toast thanks to the total lack of ability and preparation by the SNP. The huge budget deficit has to be funded and there has been no real improvement in both internal and export market infrastructures. There will always be those who cannot accept it, but reality is a cruel mistress as Useless has just found out.

    Independence is toast for at least 15-20 years (if ever) thanks to the total lack of preparation by the SNP / Holyrood in the last 17 years. Scotland now has a £ 20 + BILLION budget deficit which has to be funded, no real improvement in both internal and export infrastructures, declining education, health and local services. No coherent 'pathway to Independence' has been articulated to the electorate, only a number of very expensive, high-level, glossy brochures full of word soup and totally lacking credibility - promises of taking 100,000 children out of poverty, FREE bikes and laptops. Many assume Scotland will keep the GBP, but when I've asked the SNP how the currency will transition to a Scottish Pound - NO REPLIES - there is no detail, nor is there for other costly matters such as borders with the RUK, export tariffs, fisheries protection vessels. The list is endless because NOTHING has been done.
