- Welcome to The Thairish Sun!
Docu-Vlogs 2: This week we try to give you a rough idea of what it's like to drive on the roads of Samui so you know what to expect if you are ever in the area. We also go to 4 different locations on the island to see whether people are, or aren't, wearing their helmets when riding their bikes.
Big thank you to anyone who has subscribed so far! Join us!
We're trying to produce a video every week, usually Tuesday, but you know yourself.

awesome vid bro thnx!
Beautiful day ❤
Really good info. 👍
Cheers Tony 🙂
We usually hire a bike through the hotel, great price and never any hassle. We now bring our own helmets as one given was small. There are usually alot more bikes on the roads. We have seen 1 accident, was caused by a tourist showing off to his girlfriend. Would reccomend hiring a bike as it opens up the island. Best tip, don't drive like an idiot, take your time and be wary of your surroundings. We usually go around the whole island. Love the Last count Dara Kitchen... our first place to eat and as always very friendly owner.
Great video as always.
Thanks

Hi Thomas, you know the island well! Thanks for tuning in each week, buddy ☺️
Realky good
Thank you so much for watching ขอบคุณมาก khap ❤️
@@thethairishsun Thankyou for lovely video 11years ago samui very cheap to rent motorbike
I liked Koh Samui. West side was calm and not many people over there. We have found out nice place PJ's Bar & Restaurant. Comparing to Phangan it was bigger and more driving more civilisation. Have good memories but Phangan was better IMO. Looking forward to come to Thailand again. Which islands you recommend ?
Ya I know PJs bar mate, been out on the boat there and know the owner! That's aso closed at the mo 😣 just in too quiet an area to get any customers at the mo
Koh lanta is nice, koh lipe is good too. Both relaxing. Phuket and phi phi for parties. Samui and pha Ngan are the best 2 in my opinion, they have it all.
@@thethairishsun so next time we are going to Koh Lanta and Koh Lipe and then I would like to spend some time again on Phangan!
@@ukaszprzechadzki5844 they are both very small, not as much happening like here or Phuket. But pretty and relaxing
What's the prices
Must be nice to have the freedom to choose whether you where a helmet or not.
Hey, cheers for the comment! Yea Koh Samui is still very relaxed, you don't get away with things in Phuket or other touristy areas half as much.
Ok keep looking for dog and you on Lamai beach but where are you both lol I keep saying to my mum is that dog …. But no it’s not you guys ….
If we see you out and about we’re buy you a coffee/ beer we love watching you on you tube you just keep it relaxed and real love be it 😊 ok and a bit to eat and dog lol
Hi Trudy, thank you very much 😁 who know, you might just see me out 😜
Do they have any Tok-tok rentals?
Tuk-tuks? There used to be songtail type ones that stuck to their route. They weren't cheap like Pattaya but ran fairly regularly. Unfortunately you barely see them at the mo to be honest.
What accent is that?
🤔 I've traveled a lot 😊 I'm not sure I have 1 accent anymore 😅
@@thethairishsun are u Irish ?
@@owen1304 ya
@@thethairishsun ah cool I'm Irish myself, you must of start traveling at 2 months old!!
@@owen1304 a rolling stone gathers no moss
