Boys say "sexy". Men say "visually interessting".
no
Boys say "ass" men say "glutus maximus"
@@curiouscucumber7162 gluteus maximus
And legends say "NOICE".
When you discover the word "noice" for the first time
He didn't said "NOISE" he just said "NICE" like that. CZcams caption is wrong.
@@alexmattyou Actually, "noice" is a meme (Michael Rosen)
@@quokka7763 I thought it was from Brooklyn 99
@@RealGhost49 ah, just checked it out, I guess that's also true!
Lucy from Disenchantment!
i'm glad yan went into more details in this video-
edit: 5 fingers arent optional. more than 5 fingers per hand are optional-
Glad you liked it :)
Less fingers are optional too. She might have had an accident...
@@Zachomara saying having less fingers is optional sounds like the character lost them on purpose lmao...
@@AlFredo-sx2yy I didn't think of that... but you're right...
For people that are familiar with Blender, this has a ton of good workflow tips. YanSculpts is a god damn powerhouse of a sculptor.
The only suggestion I have for others is while manually painting highlights and shadows on a model look fantastic, if you are intending to use a model for animation you could use modifiers to get a similar effect. Else it looks odd to have statically painted highlights and shadows on a moving model with ever changing light sources.
Hmmm, modifiers like what?
can we talk about how he is good at everything?
Very far from it but thank you!
He's so cool!!
@@yansculpts Hello. You're practically a master of Blender. How many time have you been designing?
I can’t even model a low poly pistol
Everyone is, but the wheat are under lucifer's dogmas and bondage.
50 hours of work, in a 5 minute video: "Noice." 😀
"I'll continue using basic modelling techniques like we have been so far"
You used like 10 different things that I didn't even know existed in blender
Please do the lich king one day Yan sculpts! I would really like to see how you tackle him :)
Your stuff single-handedly inspires to keep learning how to sculpt, even when it's frustrating! Nice work as always!
I love the confidence in how these guys talk making it seem like what they do in minutes is easy when literally for us mortals that would be like 2 years of work
come watch me live, it is a video that explains the process, it takes time but it can be fun if you don't stress having good results right away.
Watching this in 0.75x is like the most helpful thing in the world
Uhmmmm... Just one question... HOW TF ARE YOU DOING THAT?!?!
I think he explains it
YanSculpts Finally Back 🤯😭🥳
Every time I watch one of your videos I'm blown away! You make this look so easy.
This video was as usual really helpful! I would love to see more about your texturing workflow for characters and maybe the node setup for that. Your characters always have this really cool mix of stylized but still quite realistic texturing!
This channel is incredible! I'm a complete noob at sculpting and Blender, but it would be cool to have a live video of you sculpting that we could follow along to.
Absolutely love your videos and art style. Seeing you Blender workflow, made me leave 3ds max after almost 20 years working with it. I'm also feel my passion for character modeling revived after a couple of years working only with archviz. So glad I found your channel.
Your music sounds almost like the beginning of Just Like Heaven by The Cure and gets it stuck in my head every time.
The 6th "Noice" activated the Winter Soldier in me
I am shocked at how skilled you are and how skill like this even exists to be had. Liked. Commented. Subscribed.
As brilliant as ever, you make this look very easy and simple. Thanks Yan!
Awesome! Your tutorials are my inspiration to want to sculpt characters in Blender and fight my self-distrust to use it as a Blender beginner.
Man this is just so good and pleasing to the eyes lol.
workflow videos are so helpful, thank you a lot!
Love that style of sculpting.
This is so good! I’m a big Zelda fanboy and this is awesome
This guy makes it look so easy
I'm liking the humor added to the video! Keep it up man!
Dang he makes it looks easy. He does everything on an art tablet which is impressive! I'm still doing the keyboard and art tablet combo.
You are so amazing, man. Really makes me want to stop playing videogames and focus more on studying Blender on my very limited free time.
its pretty much what im doing. My only game time is my stream and playing Overwatch with the wife. The rest of my free time goes to learning blender.
@@smeagolsings I hear that, man. Between working, finishing college, learning a new language, going through WebDev and DevOps bootcamps, the only time that I have is to play something on my PS4, or League of Legends with my wife. The only way for me to squeeze some Blender studying in is if I take away some PS4 time, haha.
@@lucasbittencourt8290 I think the worst part is is that i was starting to get comfortable with Maya 6 years ago when my student edition expired. Blender looked really rough 6 years ago so I didn't really want to make the switch fearing a down grade. I wish I had stuck with it. So now i'm learning from square one again. But i do remember some of the theory i learned while working through tutorials. Tough sculpting is wholly new to me.
Good work! I appreciate that kind of creation.
Yan, it's always noice to watch your videos!
I really think that this channel is underrated.
Thanks for making this video this it'd helped a lot in my character sculpting journey
Just found your channel and it's super inspirational. Great work, and great presentation style!
Thanks, welcome aboard!
Omg this is beautiful I've just discover your Chanel :0 you make an amazing work

Very noice video. Now i can´t stop saying "noice" in my head... i think i love it
I like how he says "NOICE"
0:44 - did not expected to hear that as well, haha.
This only part that I like most 😂😂
It's the enjoy for me
NOICE XD
Only true legends know this is what Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) says on Brooklyn 99.
Makes it look so easy. Takes mortals 100x as long to do these things
Love the vids man.
Great explanation
Hey Yan, I really love the way you do your blockouts at the beginning.
I would love to see a tutorial about that !
He makes it look so easy, what a chad
Wow! That’s impressive! Thank you!
Love it. every time you said Noice.. I repeated NOICE :D
Ill definitely check out the anatomy :) Thank you

God! He is Back. Hi sir.
Hey :)
Lovely video :) as always

Everytime I see how people model or sculpt something:

I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying sculpting and modeling in blender!
you seriously make this look so easy. I've tried following along with your videos but I never get past adding the eye sockets before encountering problems.
it's weird how he is amazing with sculpting and rigging yet we don't see an animation yet... i would love to watch it!
Very enjoyable

Wow Wow Wow Amazing 😍😍😍👌👌👌
It's absolutely incredible how good you are. What projects are you working on at the moment?
just finished the anatomy course project, so I would like to make a trailer on it, and prepare for next vidéo :)
You know what, im gonna say it.... i hate you for being this good.

Daamn, the hair are majestic
YEOW awesome... I'll try this style of sculpting characters.. can you do kda ahri all out?
You forgot :" speed up the video for have it ended in less than 5 minutes..... Noice!" XD
Anyway, you are really a great modeler, I like how you work ^^
you tottally convinced me to start to model in blender instead of zbrush!
Thank you for sharing your process! I was wondering, how do you do the cutting trick with the cube?
For exemple at 1:59
commenting for the notification when you get an answer
Feel free to add more 🤣🤣🤣 bro hate you ... I can only make buldings on blender 😭😭😭 now I have a new goal... 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 awesome work man.
Noice work
how does this "remesh" thing work where you merge the body parts? is it an addon? the way you merge everything together and model the clothes and stuff makes it look so easy but i have no clue how you do it so smoothly. and where do you get that rig from?
blender's remesh only joins parts when they are islands of the same object, if you look on the top right you say have torso sphere and lower body sphere if you right click both and join them together into one object it allows for the remesher to do its thing (it comes with blender).
You could also use constant detail dyntopo which allows you to create new topology so you dont have to create a new mass for each part, but its laggy sometimes and it is a change in workflow.
edit 1 : also remeshing gives you an option for both quality(poly count) which you can check with control + r (i think) and it also gives you an option of removing poles and keeping the volume intact ( basically uniform topology and same object shape), as well as smooth shading which, well makes it smoother really.
On top of that he makes clothes by splitting the mesh into the areas he needs by selecting topology he doesnt need and pressing H in edit mode which stands for hide ( alt h to unhide) this allows him to pick the mesh he wants and duplicate+extrude it outwords(or solidify with the modifier).
Then he applies a pure subdivision(to support the mesh so it doesnt lose structure when subdividing) and then a catmul clark subdiv so the mesh obtains more detail to sculpt on.
I’d have actually hated you if you did this in 5 minutes. Still hella good sculpting
awsome
Holly Molly!!!
This is pretty to look at .
You make it look so easy;-) Btw, any chance you'll be posting a video overview / teaser of your new anatomy sculpting course?
Yes, hoping to start working on that trailer soon :)
I wish I could go past a box in blender. Still love watching these videos!
Also wish I knewn where to start with blender.
Look up the donut tutorial, or the Anvil tutorial... or the sword tutorial... go from there... you just have to wing it... best way to learn is by copying what they do on the tutorial, but also give it some ideas from your own thoughts... make the donut have chocolate icing or something... make the sword have a jewel on the base... etc.
How are the spheres you add going from low-poly to high-poly as you're sculpting them? Are you remeshing between cuts or somehow using dynotopo?
