Cyling Mount Teide: Europe's longest continuous climb (with data overlays)

- Two fit but relatively inexperienced cyclists make a day of Mount Teide. Ain't no KOMs here, but there are plenty of coffee stops.
Route was Costa Adeje - Los Cristianos - La Camella - Arona - L'Escalona - Vilaflor - Teide - Parador ... and back again.
Ride was in early Feb 2018.
Beautiful Cervelo C3 hired from Bike Point Las Americas - they were great.

Longest in km or biggest elevation?
Longest climb in Europe and quite possibly the largest elevation as well but not sure.
@@Tideman11 It's neither of those actually. Granada - Pico De Veleta is longer in km and the eleveation climbed is larger.
@@OxxidCZ You can climb El Teide from the north side which is around 50 kilometers long. Pico Veleta is 44 kilometers. From the other sides, El Teide has a length in the range of 40-45 km, but there is a short flat part. So you are right about the accent.
