Every element of your voice power is there and it helps tell your story. There's no doubt many people will have very personal attachments to your well-written song. Your range takes the song through sadness, hurt, betrayal, anger, and yet the gritty moment screams strength, acceptance, and confidence. That's why I believe so many listeners will embrace the heartfelt message. One of the most important things I was taught to be a good therapist was to look people in the eyes. Why? Because it tells them you are with them in those crucial moments...that you understand and you are fully open to their emotions. So, I'd respectfully suggest you sing to the camera. Your eyes will pass on your emotions as you shared after the song was over - "it still gets me every time" (paraphrase). I truly love this song.
