Thermocol reinforced wall houses are alternate housing construction method which is good & low cost method. it can fullfill lot of people's dream who has low budget. but there
few problems in this house construction.
first problem : contractors charge INR 1150 - 1300 / sg.ft. against INR 1500 / sq.ft for conventional house construction. which is not cost effective. it may looks like cost effective however cost difference is negligible......
i read few articles that this is not high load bearing member.
stiffness will be less so probability of collapse at the time of natural disaster is high.
skilled labour requirement which is a big drawback in contest of India.
handy tools required to avoid opening up of tounge and groove joints which may vanish the whole purpose of heat insulating.

Muthu Kumar bro...first the entire building stiffness is based on what kind of foundation actually we provide...here they clearly said about that .they provide inverted T footing throughout the building base.. which means it could resist lateral earth pressure...moreover this footing resist the uplift pressure and completely eliminate the differential settlement...here the thermocol is acting as a inert material it would absorb the sound...watch their construction videos and description where they given..

It is good comparing to hut . But is it capable of tolerating high heat, strom, heavy rain, I don’t think so. Recently I built a brick of purchasing high quality of raw materials on my own. 5 feet basement 250 sft hall 2 100sft bedrooms with attached bathrooms 50sft kitchen ample car park with roof , water bore for 130 feet. 2tanks each 10feet. 1septic tank 10feet. Compound for 2200sft surroundings. Roofing with 100 packets of cement. Electric work , tiles , painting, simple interior. 4 numbers of Strong wooden doors . Rubies for filling empty land. Submarine motor. Pipes sink bath material. And we used two tone bricks for strong walls. Walls are very thick . All including we done this for 15 lacs for construction on 2018 . Ultra strong durable house which lasts more than 100 years. My opinion is don’t do experiments on ur dream.
