Forhill also added these trance uplifting type filtering on the main pluck/arp. This gives you that classic build up feeling. You have a great lead synth but it doesn't "get in the way" like leads sometimes can. Its like you're feeling the uplift of a trance song with that vapor wave type nostalgia to bring you back down. It really just meshes so well together and everything feels so "in place". Maybe I'm looking too much into it but Forhill really did an incredible job with this song.

Last year, two months after I wrote my other comment, I ran into some troubles and had to abandon my studies, while hoping to resume them in a month or two, but it was fruitless, so I decided to wait till the next year. But then the epidemic struck, so I traveled far far away from my city to my grandparents to, sort of, sit through it, as I had nothing to do anyway. There, on one late evening on my b-day, I was sitting outside, having a tea with the cake, reflecting on what has happened throughout almost the year, how I'm just sitting, while my school friends are almost finishing the first year of Uni, how we had lots of fun during last years of school, while feeling like I was out of this world as this routine suddenly broke for me. And I was listening to this track, And it struck me, why it's called "Searching". It's about people, searching for their place in this world, a place where they belong and can feel comfortable in and about that if this place is unreachable for now, it will be found someday...... Thanks again for this wonderful gem, Forhill !!!
