This is a 1987 300D. I used to have a 1986 Mercedes 380SL, which is why I get the years mixed up. Sorry about that!
Same concerns as with all 124’s even gas with M103 motors. Maintain the cooling system and all its components! And use oem type coolant only…
Do those motors have the same issue with the potential crack between cylinder 3 and 4 after it overheats? Keeping the cooling system in working order is very important.
