It's really disappointing to see you guys taking these better help sponsorships. It's been known for years how scummy they are and now even more is being revealed. Better help is a data broker parading around as a therapy service and a real shit one at that
It's a shitty service and way more expensive than their ads suggest
Mine costs 585 for 3 months with a session a week. Which comes out to $45 a session. If there were a more affordable option out there I'd be interested but I cannot find one. Also haven't had any issues with my therapist but obviously issues with data being sold

Mental health therapist here, I don’t suggest Better Help and many people in the field do not like it whatsoever. A therapist shouldn’t be arguing with you and definitely shouldn’t be telling you about some diet. I’m sorry those things happened to the both of you and I hope you are able to find an actually good therapist to help you through your mental health journey.

Yeah it's disappointing they keep promoting betterhelp. They must have renewed their contract at least at some point (because usually contracts aren't *this* long) despite knowing what's going on with betterhelp, which is disappointing.

My Master’s is in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have had over 10 different clients complain about Better Help and some of the stuff I’ve heard is super unethical.

Just thought you guys should know that my BH "therapist" made a number of comments about my physical appearance during our one single session and then when I told him that I wasn't planning on continuing my BH subscription, he gave me his personal contact information because he wanted to "keep in touch."

@@angellike4344 When I made my initial comment, there were absolutely no captions for the video, at least not on my devices, even though I had turned the option for captions on and checked the caption settings. I even checked the comments to see if there were other people who noticed this, which there were, before posting my comment. Since you've replied, I checked to see if the channel had uploaded captions; while there are still no provided captions (again, despite turning the option for captions on, which means there are "captions," but there are no words typed up to show on screen, and thus the default for captions on the video is still no captions at all), it seems that either the channel or CZcams itself has allowed for the video to have auto-generated captions (from my understanding, if a video allows for auto-generated captions, it can sometimes take a while for them to appear, so this would make sense if that's the case), which is not ideal or even good but much better than nothing.

This was such a fun video!! I loved the new format, very creative and engaging, but it's so incredibly disappointing to see yet another BetterHelp sponsorship :( Their practice is legitimately harmful, and it's so irresponsible to be advertising their services to your audience. Please reconsider partnering with them in the future!
The title and thumbnail of this video are a bit misleading. After finally watching it, I now know they got stuck on the fish round for a while, so I get it. To be honest, I actually passed on watching this one a couple times because all I saw was the title and clips of them smelling Keith’s breath, I wasn’t very interested. I decided to finally give it a watch and found that this was one of my favorite pilots this month. I was laughing out loud! It is a fun concept for a game show and Ryan was an excellent host. I’d definitely watch it again. Maybe be more clear next time so people know what they’re clicking on?
I was so looking forward to watching this and there are NO subtitles so I'm missing out on like 75% of the dialogue 😢 Y'all, I love you. Please just pay somebody. Please. I want to be able to enjoy your videos just like the rest of the world lol.

Honestly, this very well may be my MOST FAVORITE Try Guy video of all time. I was dying laughing throughout the entire smell portion and just overall the video, the editing, the contestants and commentary was all so funny and enjoyable to watch. The editing felt very 2010’s Nickelodeon editing, WHICH I LOVED, and seeing all of the Try Friends in a game-show style episode was so wholesome. I LOVED this video

I love you guys, but stop promoting BetterHelp for real. There are actual lawsuits now.
Aside from promoting it, I also think the ad itself here is damaging, suggesting it's a burden to your loved ones if you talk to them about your problems. Many problems are made worse BECAUSE people don't talk to others about them.
What's the lawsuits for? I used them a couple of times over the years and have gotten good help from them.

They likely have a contract with them where they are required to run X amount of ads. There's not much they can do at this point.
Loved the concept of the video, but PLEASE, stop the Better Help sponsorship!! I know y'all likely are in a contract, so there may be a point in time that you're unable to stop promoting them, but YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO STOP RENEWING IT! If you feel that you're "burdening friends & family with mental health", take a step back & unpack why you might feel like a burden!
Feeling like that sucks & it's necessary to have a balance of proper mental health support, but by no means is the internal self-loathing that's being projected here going to be solved JUST by one source of help alone (i.e. signing up for BetterHelp)! Issues like this are complex & require a multitude of support networks, otherwise the self-loathing & feelings of isolation continue to perpetuate. We MUST NOT isolate ourselves from community, family & friends, nor do these people deserve to have EVERYTHING dumped on them---balance is key, but that's not presented here!

“don’t burden your friends with your problems?” :/ the delivery with the better help ad is really harmful to people who are already facing difficulties talking about their struggles, the use of “burden” validates the feeling that someone might have of being a burden, this the same exclusionary experience that drives people to NOT seek help :/ the betterhelp ads are upsetting in general, but this approach to mental health is not what i’ve known of the try guys previously. I know it’s hyperbole for the ad pitch, but I think it invites negative words into a space that is supposed to encourage positive growth and expression. 👎
This is probably the best game show you guys have made yet, but it still has some problem. Firstly, don't eliminate contestants. Keep everyone in until the end, it isn't fun watching someone stand around with nothing to do. Secondly, make it way easier. How the hell are people going to guess the smell of a specific fish? All fish smell fishy. And the chapstick? The flavors were so specific, no way someone will know what Oatmeal Cookie chapstick tastes like, especially without their sense of smell. And how are people supposed to know a celebrities perfume? Granted they got Ariana Grande pretty quick but that had to have been a fluke.
So yea, make it way easier, it isn't fun watching people guess randomly for 10 minutes. This was also a problem with the guess the professional game, questions are way too vague. Love the vibe though! It's a great idea, just needs some adjustments.

GOOD!!!! seriously the editing, the perfect contestants, the humor was dry and odd had me just laughing out loud throughout this whole thing. when you guys all booed keith as a group in the beginning i knew this would be good. fucking well done try guys. love you all leaning into your comedic instincts.
