The XDEEP NX Standard Harness is a traditional 2" webbing harness with a lightweight aluminium alloy backplate. The NX series backplate is more ergonomic than a traditional plate thanks to it's wider shape and design making it more comfortable than a standard shape plate.
The crotch strap is a new V-shape design that distributes the load for more comfort and allows for two rear attachment D-Rings.

@5:48 the wais strap actually goes on the outside of the shoulder straps. That way your shoulder straps can be a little bit looser and it's easier to get into your rig. When you tighten down the waist band, it automatically tightens the shoulder straps as well

I would love a video where you actually attach the wing and build out a full setup so we can all see how it comes together

I have the stainless steel version at 8lbs for with my NX project doubles wing. I have been diving it for nearly a year now. Its a great backplate and very comfortable. The v style crotch strap is great when floating at the surface or in a heads down position in a wreck or ext. A correction to the video is that waist strap goes over the arm bands not under. It holds the arm straps closer to your body and keeps them from moving around (based on the instructions from Xdeep... and diving it). The only issue I have with it is the webbing on the top that crosses along the backplate. It makes it a bit tougher to attach my doubles often. its great when adding a single tank adapter and wing for rec diving.

I don't understand why they didn't include slots for cam bands. They could have included the slots on the backplate and on the wing and it would remove the necessity for a tank adapter. A few holes instead of additional adapter and screws and bolts and washers.

Bc the it bulges outwards. For twins perfect but a single tank would wobble like crazy

It's just the backplate with the harness.

DIR is a sort of philosophy within diving that encourages safety through uniformity, minimalism, streamlining, and good technique.
DIR divers usually use a balanced rig, back plate wing system with a long hose/short hose reg system made for primary donate.
Look up inner space explorers on CZcams. It'll change the way you think about diving.

And as far as this backplate, you attach a bladder to it. Xdeep has an awesome selection of bladders for that frame.
