The 🎥, the composition, so lovely, so sweet, I have treasured this simplistic, quiet treasure for thirty one +!!!!!! I appreciate De Niro, Fonda, as well as the other fine actors!!!!!! This lovely soundtrack, quietly playing to the scroll of the scenic backdrop of a quaint, sweet town, offers me a bit of heaven!!!!!!!!!!!

I named my daughter Iris because of this film and my commitment to literacy. Every adult should be able to read and write! I've donated money, time, and my daughter's name to that goal.

This was such a heartwarming film with incredible performances by Jane Fonda and Robert DeNiro. Thank you for your commitment to literacy. I am a social worker and some of my clients struggle with literacy. Very grateful for your post. God bless!

A wonderful film and an absolutely beautiful John Williams score.

This score was/is intriguing, in that it recalls some of the work Williams was doing in the early 70s ('Pete n' Tillie', 'The Paper Chase', some aspects of 'The Sugarland Express' and 'Cinderella Liberty', 'Conrack', etc.) and serves to remind novices that before he became known for the large symphonic score, Williams was/is equally adept at light jazz scores ('Cinderella Liberty', 'The Long Goodbye' - and later 'Catch Me if You Can'), the Baroque and Avant-garde ('Images', 'The Eiger Sanction'), and 'chamber scores' such as this.

John Williams' music never betrays any listener's expectation, though the movies at times betray their watchers' expectations.

I love John Williams so much, i can feel his handwriting in almost every two bars of his music. Some parts reminds me of Forrest Gump, talking only about atmosphere in the beginning of suite, at 4:44 is Williams remembering of Witches of Eastwick :) But there you have John. His beautiful soul playing to our ears here on Earth, to make us happier for the time that have been given to us.
Thank you from our hearths !!!

MAESTRO JOHN WILLIAMS TO ME IS THE GREATEST COMPOSER ALIVE AND PROBABLY IN ALL FILM HISTORY. HIS BODY OF WORK HAS NO COMPARISON. AND FOR THE BRAINLESS CREATURES THAT SAY HE'S A PLAGIARIST JUST SAY THIS, YOUR COMPLETELY WRONG. GO AND STAY IN SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHING, MR. WILLIAMS I'M PRIVILEGED AS A PERSON AND PROUD AS A MUSICIAN HAVE LIVED IN THE SAME TIME AS YOU. I GREW UP WITH YOUR MUSIC, AND BECAUSE OF YOUR GIFTED TALENT THE STRONG DESIRE TO STUDY MUSIC AWAKENED IN ME. I WAS 10 YEARS OLD WHEN I ASSIST TO THE PREMIER OF TOWERING INFERNO BACK IN 1972 IN MY HOME TOWN, MÉRIDA, YUCATÁN, MEXICO. THAT FILM SCORE HAS CHANGED ME FOR EVER. AND IGNITED THE SPARK OF THE MUISIC INSIDE ME. AND JUST FOR THAT I HAVE TO SAY THANK YOU. AND GOD BLESS YOU SIR. AND IN HIS INFINITE WISDOM MAY HE KEEP YOU ALIVE AND HEALTHY SO WE POOR MORTALS STILL REJOICE WITH YOUR GENIUS CREATIONS.

@@mrswozzle You do not have a single idea of what you're talking about. You are ridiculous and disgusting; people as mediocre as you shouldn't be allowed to have social media, to have a voice. JOHNNY WILLIAMS IS THE GREATEST COMPOSER TO EVER LIVE. The level of beauty and emotion in his writing is unparalleled. Only very, very few come close to him in this aspect, like Morricone, Wagner, Dvorak, or Beethoven, for example. He will live on forever and be remembered as one of the greatest, while you on the other hand, will be just another meaningless human life that will be forgotten :)
