Hey Everyone! ) I’m Anna and welcome to my channel. Here, I post some useful information for English learners. I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will - because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. I know exactly what it takes to become fluent and acquire an accent in a non-English speaking country, and I’ve never even been to one. And I’m sharing this information here - on my channel.

You hit the nail on the head. If one needs to improve, he needs to put in the time and effort. One will only feel the sense of achievement after one has finally able to communicate with the native speakers with ease. You will notice the look of your friends after they hear you speaking and wonder how they find it so hard to learn. They never relies that so much time and efforts were put in to reach this stage. Your videos are a down to earth awaking for those who are still struggling with acquiring the language and only by consistently putting in the efforts to acquire new approaches and practices that anyone can acquire what they setup to achieve EVENTUALLY ! As a professional trainer myself, i really appreciate the passions you put in to impart your knowledge, skills, experiences and expectation. You did a great job !

Ok, let me add some more wisdom to this: first, as long as you keep consuming English content consistently on a daily basis your English is going to be improving without any additional efforts from you. It may not be noticeable immediately, I mean you can't say that today you're doing better than yesterday, but you're definitely doing better than 3 month ago! Next, your learning process can be less or more active depending on how much of your attention you pay to what you're listening to. You can briefly watch some talk shows just for fun or you can make notes writing down all interesting and new phrases you've just heard and trying to repeat them with your own mouth, making them this way your own phrases, increasing your kind of "phrasal vocabulary". Because, you know, we are speaking not with words and not with grammar rules, but with sorta small chunks of language or speaking stereotypes if you will. The more those chunks or stereotypes you acquire and make yours, the more freely you can express your thoughts. Your goal should actually be to learns those pieces of language as many as possible! Preferably all of them) And the only way to do this is to listen and understand. It is that simple!
PS I am also a Ukrainian guy I learn English on my own. It became my passion and I'm very glad that there are such wonderful Ukrainian people as the author of this channel who provides such great value to all English learners! Thank you Ana! I'm proud of you. I wish one day knowing English will be a part of basic literacy in Ukraine)

Hi, Anna! As I mentioned in other comments, your speaking is a good case in point, and your videos are interesting not only because of ideas and inspiration but also because of the common words and phrases for copying them to personal vocabulary. And according to it, I have a suggestion.
When we didn't catch something, we usually turn on the subtitles and look at the word or a phrase that we didn't understand. And when I decided to check the phrase "stand out and scream for a change" I noticed that the automatic subtitles suggest to me the "stemmed" instead of the "stand". I assume that it is not the only one word with the wrong subtitles.
So, it will be great if you turn on the audio from your completed video in front of your phone, where you turn on some program for converting speech to text, and then just correct this text and upload it with this video to get us accurate subtitles. It will be another level-up feature for your channel and good help for your subscribers.
