Trying out the SculpFun Diode Laser Cutter... is it WORTH IT?

- Diode Laser Cutters. Are they worth it? We're on a quest to try out as many as we can and see for sure. They're a much more affordable option than most CO2 lasers on the market which is obviously appealing... but what's the trade off?
We're particularly looking forward to trying the SculpFun Laser Cutter today because of its 600 mm x 600 mm working area; that's larger than any diode laser we've seen on the market.

At first I thought maybe this was a late video for the flying pig build with the butterfly wings, lol 🤦♂️ I guess it just reminded me of it. Different wings though.
I may have missed it but how long was the cut time for each wing?
I unfortunately didn’t think to time it. I would guess about 10-15 minutes per wing or so.

Diode laser setups are terrible and unsafe, doesn't take much power at all off a reflection to do permanent eye damage, and the zero fume extraction...
