I understand "A warm comfy blanket movie". That seems to be all I have been watching lately.
I remember renting this back in the day. My friends and I thought it was hilarious how they filmed pretty much everything at the same damn location. It would show them traveling, then they would be back in that same quarry. Then traveling, and then... they were back at the same quarry. In this world, every outdoor location looks like the same place, except for the locations in the footage that they stole from other movies.
What a coincidence! I've been binging through the first four Doom games recently!

Almost every non-Mad Max 80's post-apocalyptic movie has an awesome cover that is simply not done justice by the actual movie.
SLATER'S RAIDERS sounds like a kickass name metal band or cool squad-based action game.

The scenery looks very familiar in this movie. Then you said it was shot in Turkey, and it clicked, this was shot in some of the locations used for Turkish Star Wars. Those whiteish rocks and those caverns with the rooms and stuff that are carved into the rock, I'm almost positive it's the same location.
Cappadocia, a region with an ancient history.....and penis-shaped rock formations.

I would love to see you cover 'Treasure of the Four Crowns' from 1983. My aunt and uncle owned it on CED Videodisc when I was a kid and I watched that movie every chance I could. Definitely a good bad flick!

This movie's entire ending action sequence is hilarious and worth watching for alone. Also the villain is clearly supposed to be unmasked during the fight but they edited out the reveal. I guess they wanted to save it for the sequel...

Two other post apocalyptic movies that could be interesting for your channel: Warlords (1988) with David Carradine and Sid Haig and Hands of Steel (1986) with John Saxon.
Hands Of Steel is more of a Terminator rip-off, but, since John Saxon passed away, good suggestion.
That Hands of Steel theme song is pretty dope, and I always crack up when the female cyborg attacks the main character.

Slater? That's just precious. I guess he must the guy the USS Slater (DE-766 - it's usually docked locally as a museum ship) is named for. Had no idea the USN were fans of this flick.
