In this video I'm showcasing the second of three new cars included in the new Race Sim Studio Classic Endurance pack. This is a mod pack for Assetto Corsa on PC, and is a new mod for 2022.
In the second episodes, I'll take a look at the LMGT Toyama 2-Zero V8, known in the real world as the Toyota TS020, or the Toyota GT-One.

Saw these racing at Le Mans back in the day. Has to be my favourite race car I saw racing back then. Felt for Martin Brundle when he was in with a chance to win the race and he had a tyre blow out. I have the Auto Art model of this car. It looks epic :)
Wow! No way. That’s an amazing piece of automotive history you witnessed. I’m jealous
@@SimRacing604 Yeah it was. Saw the Mclaren F1 win in 1995. From there I went the next few years up to 2003 amd the Bentley win. The Bentley was the awesome through the Porasche curves. Never seen a race car so well planted as that. By that time Audi was ruining the sport. Think 95 and 96 was my favourite years as Le Man's was new to me and the fact that there was a lot of British entries like TVR ( I was there with my TVR S1 and later the Griffith 500), Lotus, Morgan, and Lister. I highly recommend a trip there. Must go back at some point.
Toyota’s storied history of trying to win Le Mans only to miss out for the most random reasons reminds me of Dale Earnhardt Sr. trying to win the Daytona 500 for years and missing out for things like blowouts and even a seagull flying into his car once.
Once again, I thank you for the content. I’m only racing these cars against the AI, but I’m able to add put together a very fun experience. Adding other cars to the mix from Lotus, Mercedes, Porsche, Panoz, Maserati and Lamborghini, is fantasy racing at it’s best.
Be careful! The Maserati and Lamborghini are much newer cars that were not part of the same regulations (Assuming you are referring to the MC12 and Murcielago R-GT in that respect). Those two cars have more together with the much overlooked GT2 class of the same timeframe since they stem directly from those regulations.
Wow! This pack is making me want a pc even more now. Thank you for sharing this, I had no idea rss studios was even working on lmp-gt's
With every mod of late 90s - early 2000s LMPs I always wanted to know if the Toyota GT-One was included and if not, something huge was missing. So iconic in design and paint scheme, going all-out from the race start. Will get this pack. Thanks!
superb! im always a massive sucker for sounds, and NeverKrash is a doctor!
I love the "classic" series of mods, But I grew up during the very early 70s. To me, "classic" is the 512, 312, 917 (All of them!), 908 series, Alfa T33 series, Matra... You get the idea.
Love the exhaust note of this car.
I do have a weird black flicker from the area of the front wheel arch/tire area in replays.
Nice to wake up on this Australian Saturday Morning - and get to watch BOTH Parts 2 & 3 of the RSS Car Pack Series, Mike....
And I agree with you - that just based on the sound at this point - this would be my favorite of the RSS Bunch, but looking forward to trying out all three later down the track? (pun intended ; )))
External sound is amazing!
All three cars are very stable and easy to drive. I like this mod, you feel the cars have grip.
Hi mate if your screens are higher than head height get a couple of 100mm rails over top of screens then a black sheet over you'll love the immersion
And black cardboard under screens
Thank you for the suggestion!
I run 65inch triple screen it's cheap to do immersion is awesome
Nice content as always Mike.
You are using the CSL DD again, Why is that?
Also, you can get the screens lined up much better than that even when using the bezel free kit.
RSS offerings are instabuy for me at this point. Great stuff!
Hey man, great vid. Please check out the URD Loire as well!
I haven't bought the pack yet (will have to wait until I get my paycheck next month) but I definitely hope there is a part 2 with the McLaren F1 anf the Panoz GTR1.
How do these cars stack up against Kunos' 911 GT1 and URD Mercedes CLK gtr?
I don't have the URD Mercedes, but at Spa the Kunos Porsche is roughly as quick as the Nissan, the Ferrari is a bit quicker, and the Toyota is again a bit quicker than the Ferrari
@@oliwhere have you thrown the 787B in the mix?
Hopefully you have updated the pack. there was an update that tweaks a few things.
I’ve been waiting a very long time to get exceptional versions of these three cars in sim racing. The PC2 cars were horrible feeling.
Actually the 333sp wasn't too bad.
was this released last year?
I must be in the minority. I never liked the GT1, it became the blueprint for LMP1, and by extension LMH. I respect it, of course, but given the other pieces of automotive art that were being produced, the GT1 classes were a far better (imo, of course) representation of "how to racecar" and this is the car that kinda ruined it.
Still, epic mod, fantastic car, great work all round by RSS, as usual 😎
I like the video a lot. However here is my problem. I have bought cars but I simply cannot find anywhere to race them online. And I don't get a lot of enjoyment just running around the track by my self ( unless I'm practicing for an online event ) or racing against the Ai unless the my Internet is down. Where can I race them online? Thx for the post.
Can't use in the rain, wipers are useless. Hope they can fix this, otherwise just brilliant.
