- This spontaneous day trip turned into an awesome relaxing adventure. Lake Perris State Recreation Area in Southern California has so many recreation opportunities. They have hiking, biking, fishing, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, camping, picnicking, rv camping, and so much more! We had lots of fun enjoying the beach, swimming in the surprisingly clear waters, playing on the playground, and chilling in the sand and sun. @@robertseilala9983 they have many restrooms throughout the park. We passed by one of the bathroom facilities where we were swimming at the beach but did not use it.

What time would be a good time to arrive. We live in desert hot springs
@@zCharlie727 the earlier the better. If going on a weekend arrive right when they open. We went during the week so it was not very busy at all.

Nice video! How early would you recommend arriving for the 4th?
I would recommend getting there as soon as they open for day use if you want to get a good spot. I could be wrong but imagine it will be packed

Are canopy’s not allowed I didn’t see any in ur video ?
They allow canopies. There were a couple families that had canopies on the beach but they were much further down.

A dude just died there.. we were right next to them.. was super weird.. they packed up and left so fast... 4 left on boat and 3 came back
Omg that is so horrible. I can only imagine how the family felt and being around them as well that had to be so hard to hear and witness. 💔
