- I was inspired by tensegrity sculptures made by Kenneth Snelson in the 1970's and decided to make a simple pedestal using this structural design. Here's more info about him: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth...
This is part 2 of 2 in which I complete construction.

Came out nice.
Yep, I'm pretty tickled with it!
That is pretty amazing! 👍👍
I totally agree, and it does make a great plant stand!
Very interesting! I wonder if we will ever see structures made this way. BTW, Thanks for the tip regarding sewing machine lights. I bought Two. One for my mill another for my lathe.
Tensegrity was originally created by Buckminster Fuller who is The Mastermind behind geodesic domes of course so in a sense there are many structures based on his thinking.
Yes, the sewing machine lights are awesome aren't they!
Me too.
Regarding tensegrity structures, there is a pedestrian bridge in Brisbane Australia constructed using this method, here's a link:

I might have to unsubscribe after that a-tension joke lol 😂
It turned out great, I really like your videos! Thanks for taking the time to share, and good job on the lighting, editing etc
Thanks Marty. I try to put a bit of levity in there occasionally! And thanks for noticing my production values!
