I have never see orga pipes swing and sway as Gert does. He is fine organist and has come a long way from his late start. His stance at the console leaves much to desired. You didn't see Biggs, Fox, Schriener, Elssassar, Pinkhan or many of the other famous organists - who did NOT use sheet music to play, look like a tree blowing in the wind. It is unnecessary and distracting just like bench hopping with the new crop of young pianists.

Sheet or not ? -- --- --- Blowing or not like a tree in the wind that's absolutely "ohne Wichtigkeit." Even one greatest pianist of all time if not the GREATEST vladimir HOROWITZ had gesticulation on playing. This meaning from a lot of melomans people to day, that a good interpretation is free of gestes is a nonsens modern..Before a sound is created he is in the body of the virtuose, from there he is transmitted to the instrument. Probably Gert could play all by memorie without sheets but anotation on a sheet specially what concern the registration from an organ as indication for the assistent or for himself is helpfull.

The video is native to the iPhone 12 pro, no retouching to either the audio or the video, I obtained the stabilization by resting my forearms on the structure of the choir loft. I don't like static shots from a tripod.
