One other quick note. If you ride the street, you should be ok with having some chicken strips. It means you are not riding 100% of the tire, and you have room for error. My street bike has chicken strips, my track bike however, has none. You can corner really fast on the street with better body position and using your vision to look through corners than 90% of the people out there with "no chicken strips". Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now. 😀
You shouldn't ever be leaning 40 degrees or more on the street. You can't trust the road surface in a corner or your line to be perfect especially in a decreasing radius turn. Recipe for disaster. Just like you say the time and place to push the limit of your ability is at the track.

you should look into getting racing leathers for proper protection, and having them customized to match your bikes split personality.

19:43 Flexible and steady 😂 I thought you took your shoe off to show him but then you put your leg down and I had a brain fart. Had to rewind it a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. BTW it wasn't y'all's fault for almost getting hit., It was the cars fault. Simply for not knowing the future or seeing through the other cars to see you coming... obviously! On a brighter note, you should tape a bunch of flowers on his bike just because he stomped on that one and blame it on the flower ancestors.🌻 Happy VDay 💘

That looks like a very fun road ( Other than the tar snakes at the start ). So if I could give you some practical advice. If you are touching your toe on the road, it could be a few things. 1. That you are riding on the middle or heal of your foot with your toes sticking out like duck feet ( which is dangerous ), or, you are leaning the bike too far without getting your upper body off and over. You should stay on the balls of your feet with the heals pushed against the heal guard, and lead the bike with your upper body / shoulder into the corner. If you can see yourself in your mirrors, you over a good amount. I put my stock mirrors back on just for this reason. Is your bike an automatic? I don’t see you using the clutch lever, but you also mention using a higher gear. I’m just a bit confused..(And not and actual biker just someone who wants to ride eventually so I’m kinda a noob on the subject)
New r1 comes with quick shifter and autoblip assist for downshift. Which means you don’t need to use the clutch after getting into first gear
