  • Just a quick video. From the 1980 animated film, The Hobbit. Here Bilbo meets the dwarves and they invite themselves to dinner. Anyone else notice that except for Thorin and Bombur, every dwarf has at least one twin?

I definitely prefer the live action version of the Hobbit. Ik it’s not a perfect adaptation and really should have only been a duology instead of a trilogy. But I don’t think it’s anywhere near as bad as the Harry Potter movies.
I also love all of the Dwarves in this movie, something that lacked in the LOTR and their light hearted humour makes me love them so much more. The animation of the dwarves is actually more faithful to the book but I think a few of them could have been better.
